1. I plan to build a forged set for my dad, who just turned 80 years old. I had built a set with Diablo Forged with Aldila VS Proto 85 a out 6 years ago. Over the period, his swing has been changed to "Swinger" from "Hitter". Also swing speed has gotten much slower. Probably less than 60 mph. I tested few shafts with light weight and XXIO's SP-900/1000 may fit him well. But Gosh! $$$$! Also I couldn't find snior flex on their forged model. So, I am asking to golf gurus here what other shafts have similar spec. and characteristics of XXIO SP-900/1000. Miyazaki? Thanks in advance.
2. My son turned 11 years old and is little bigger than avg 11yrs old. He has played 3 years casually and participated in US Kids golf tournament. At last tournament, his current clubs U60 seemed too soft for his swing and asked director for recommendation. She suggested to go with TS 63. But I am leaning toward to building adult clubs for him with Mizuno MX w/ lady shafts. Somewhere here I read TS63 is 1/2" shorter than standard adult club length and 5% less weight on head. Since I don't own the club, I can't check. If you know swing weight and length of TS63 (including woods and hybrids),
3. Thanks all for the sharing the knowledge. I ordered Recoil 460 F2 shafts for the wedges. Hope he enjoys.
4. Ok. Got 2 (50' & 54') Mack Daddy 2 Slate wedges. Both currently are equipped with wedge-flex shaft. He is 80 years old and uses Callaway Big Bertha (2015) with Recoil 460 F2 shafts for 5(H), 6-PW (PW being 45 degree.) SwingSpeed at < 80 mph w/ driver. I don't know how soft/stiff wedgeflex is. Mine has been 'Butterly' TT Black Gold stiff shafts throughout. (been more than 10 years). so do not know how wedgeflex is .. Should I change it to Recoil 460 F2? or Wedgeflex is ok for him? Thanks for advice in advance.
5. Thanks. With the spec. what's the swing weigh of the wedge?
6. I am thinking to build wedge set for my dad. Does it come with parallel or taper tip?
7. 1. Senior flex Mizuno MX-950 Iron set 5-LW (5, 6, 7, 8, 9, PW, GW, LW) I got this set for my dad who come and visit me twice a year from CA. Nowadays, airlines charges for bringing golf clubs. So, Original intention was him to not bring his clubs when he visits me. They are well used clubs but right flex for right person. Shafted with Aldila V2000 A-Flex. So here they are. I did changed grips to standard (but twice wrapped under) $120 shipped for CONUS. 2. Tour Edge Exotics XCG7 3 Wood 15" head with a headcover I played few rounds last season but didn't work out for me. As shown o
8.
I have an XCG7 Beta 15* with the Black Tie 7M3 stiff shaft and it was barely D1 when I measured it. I put some lead tape into the recessed area at the back of the head to get it to D3.
Did D3 SW do the trick? Still contemplating between adding swing weight and changing swing.
9.
I have the 5 wood and it was d2. I trimmed it 1/2". I have to try and swing under the ball and toward the hosel to hit it.
hmm.. then it must be D5 when it wasn't trimmed. Have you considered to make SwingWeight to be little heavier?
10. I only have a head of Tour Edge XCG7 Fairway wood (15 degree) and would like to try different shafts. I couldn't get the swing weight information from Tour Edge website. Does anyone know or would weight it if you have stock one? I'm thinking D3 but want to make sure. Reason: I usually like to play with less swing weight and it has been wonderful on my driver (R9, C9 with 7M3 for 44"). I made the XCG7 with same shaft (properly trimmed as mfg. suggested, C9 with 7M3 for 42"). Can't even have proper contact with the ball. Always hits top, unless tee it up high. No chance to hit it on t
11.
Would you sell just the 5 iron? If yes drop me a PM with asking price
Sorry. The club needs to be sold as a set.

13. Originally, Mizuno logo and "mizuno" letters on head are colored with dark blue (almost black) and 'mp-14" letters are gold.
