  1. I have one putter that I wanted to keep the bottom pristine so I used packing tape and trimmed it with an x-acto knife. I'm sure the 3M is tougher than packing tape but I haven't had any problems with it so far.
  2. Stainless here as well. There isn't anything special about the GSS insert that makes it sound, feel or putt better than the non-insert stainless.
  3. I discovered Iomic putter grips about four years ago and haven't looked back. Before was the dancing Cameron but they went slick far too quickly for me. The IO's never go slick, ever.
  4. I'm jealous. I have a couple of 14.5 and love the size and sound but 14.5 is just a little too loft for me. I searched high and low for a 16.5 in near to mint condition but was too late and never did find one.
  5. Older models. Totally agree on the Studio Stainless being the last great model. My gamer is a Pro Platinum Newport 2 with tungsten in the tip. I just can't shake the carbon steel with tri-sole.
  6. If you are searching for accuracy, go for a heavier weight first and then you can search for flex patterns. 80 grams and heavier would be the suggestion.
  7. Been playing 44.5 since the beginning of last year. It was the best thing I did with the driver. Although it was a mess until I got the swing weight back to where I like it at D2. I hit it straighter, with more control and if I've lost yards I haven't noticed. I hit 13 of 14 fairways my last round and am consistently 11+ fairways. Unless that changes, I'm not looking to make any changes.
  8. It looks like an original head but there is a lot of aftermarket done to it. Face has been sanded, dots have been added, weights are aftermarket, stamping, paint etc. It's definitely not a tour head if that's what you are asking.
  9. Molds are for castings, Dies are for forgings, hopefully they didn't buy molds from Nike. Tough crowd .... and I stand corrected. There looks to be a touch of difference in the heel side compared to the Reed 8 iron. If the two clubs aren't twins they are for sure siblings.
  10. Looks to me like TM bought the mold from Nike and machined a different logo. Maybe the top lines are a little more square from front to back (not heel to toe).
  11. What brand/company? His brand (Tiger Woods')
  12. Some choices here https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_2?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=golf+valuables+bag&rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3Agolf+valuables+bag
  13. Yes, just the paint. Happens all the time to fairways and hybrids.
  14. What does this mean? Seems to be a timely effort to inject some current political humour into a golf forum . Presumably, the steel in the iron shafts will not be subject to one of the Donald's protectionist tariffs. Thanks, I figured it was something like that but was sure. Lol. What does it meeannnnn? Tell me GD it! What does it meeannnnn?? Just joking around I've always used USPS to Canada and my buyers have never experienced any customs charges when the stuff is sent as a return repair I haven't ever paid brokerage fees with USPS but I have paid duty and GST with USPS.
