  1. Currently playing with DG S-300's but would love to try something different.
  2. I'd like to game these because I haven't had the chance to get much experience with ping irons.
  3. Or maybe you can let them enjoy the game and worry about your own?
  4. Thanks for the responses. The post was created because I am in a crossroad on what major to choose. The three most important questions I'm looking at are #4, 6, and 7. There seems to be a correlation between what job you have and your happiness (maybe not in this thread but in research studies). It also seems that you could have two people that work in the same field and have completely different experiences. As of now I've decided on Computer Science but in the end who knows what degree I'll end up with...I certainly don't! Feel free to keep the responses coming.
  5. For those of you who work 60+hrs a week I have a question. Is it worth it? Is the money worth the trade off for the lack of time to have hobbies or spend time with your family? It seems like many of the 100K+ jobs come at a high cost. I'm not sure I can be happy working 60+hrs a week and making 100K+. Something like 75K and 40-45hrs a week seems far more appealing to me. Even if your not working 60+hrs a week feel free to comment with your opinion on this topic.
  6. Count me in. I'm sick of looking down at my Hi-Bore. I'd love a more traditional looking driver.
  7. I would love to game one of these putters. I've been using the same putter for a few years now and putting has always been my weakness. I'm currently using a 2-ball putter but it's time for a change!
  8. TaylorMade is a business. There looking to produce a product that consumers will buy at the cheapest cost to them. Most businesses operate just like this. As far as comparing the equipment in Japan to US a lot has to do with the economy and target audience. Every company could be producing better products / more consistent products but that would lead to higher costs.
  9. Thanks for the replies so far. Keep them coming!
  10. I would like to game the Miyazaki Kusala Silver 66x because I would like a high ball flight shaft with good stability.
  11. Count me in. I'm a new college student with no money to spend. I don't deserve the clubs more than anyone else on here but I would truly love to game them.
  12. I'm a first year college student at the University of Cincinnati and was wondering what you guys do for a living. Here are my questions: 1. What's your current job? 2. How long have you been working in that specific field? 3. Do you have a college degree? (If so an Associates or Bachelors and what major) 4. Do you enjoy your job? 5. What's your salary? 6. Does your job allow time for hobbies? 7. What would you change about your job? Feel free to answer any or all of the above questions and/or include tips/personal experiences.
  13. aussieb I feel the 909 isn't worth the price over the 585.H. I wouldn't call the head any better than the 585 but the shaft options are nicer. Any other opinions?

I'm in the market for a new hybrid and am debating on weather to take out my 3i all together. I hit the Adams Idea Pro Gold and liked it but the shape isn't as pleasing to the eye as I would like. At the same time I hit the Idea Pro but it didn't feel quite as nice as the pro gold. The TM Rescue Mid TP was a great club as well but are a little harder to come across. The Titleist 585.H had a great looking head but felt a little dull. Another good looking hybrid I've seen is the Sonartec HB-001 but I haven't been able to hit it. I'm either going to get a 20* and take out my 3i or get a 17-18* and keep the 3i in the bag. I came seem to find a hybrid that really sticks out. Any suggestions?
  15. How's the feel of the shaft?
  16. I'm curious as to what shaft plays similar to the Harrison Saga 60/70-S shafts. I'm looking to put this shaft in the Bridgestone J33R. My avg. SS is 106 (103-112) which is on the borderline for the X-Stiff in this shaft. I'm most likely going to opt for the stiff shaft even though as I grow my SS hopefully (knock on wood) will still increase. My second question is should I go with the 60-S (65g) or 70-S (75g)? What do you guys think about this combo?
  17. Honestly..most people shouldn't be playing those flexes. I was on the putting green with an older gentlemen last month and he started talking to me about my putting and game, etc... well I asked him how his long game was and he said, "longer than most, I drive the ball around 300 on average." This guy is around 60 years old... He also showed me he was playing rifle flighted 6.5 shafts. Well last week I saw him on the range and watched him hit a couple of balls  and that's where this story ends...
  18. I don't get this....he's talking about his 7i shots in his first post and yet you guys are saying there not blades....look at his sig.. Nike VR Blades 7i-PW...
  19. I have no intention of buying the Heavy Putter...thus the quotations ''. I like the look of the classic anser 2 but I'm not sure if I want to buy a putter knowing I'm going to alter it.
  20. I'm in the market for a new putter and was decided on the classic ping anser 2 until yesterday. I got one in my hands the other day on the course and it felt extremely light. I'm not looking to spend a ton of money on a putter with all the glamor. I just want a nice looking/feeling putter that will get the job done. I'd like to keep the price around $100 but am willing to go to $180 (used on ebay). What do you guys recommend?
