  1. Does anyone have any experience with the titleist cncpt irons and do you think they are worth spending the money on in terms of performance? Obviously Titleist are using more expensive materials in these irons and they are only available in limited numbers so the price point is high. When they originally launched their premium irons (the c16’s) it looks to me that they were ahead of the game in terms of decreasing loft but keeping the launch high. Is this what they did or is there more to it than that?
  2. I tested all of those you have mentioned except the Srixon. I ended up going for something different in the mizuno mp20mmc’s so maybe give those a go. They have a similar profile to what you are looking at and feel better than the t100 and were more forgiving than the jpx or Taylormade.
  3. In Australia? I thought I would have pulled the plug by now but don’t see the point in rushing to decide when there is such a backlog. I’m thinking I may as well wait to see how the new Callaways perform
  4. I tested both today and found them to be very similar in both feel and distance. The p7mc’s really surprised me with how good they felt. I thought in that department it would be a no contest but it was very close. The blade length and top line look very similar at address and both are very pleasing to the eye. The tours look to have a slightly thicker sole than the mc’s. My miss is a thin shot and the Mizuno were definitely less forgiving on those shots, not that either were particularly forgiving on that kind of shot. I was however pleasantly surprised at how easy both were to hit (I’m
  5. Anyone looking at purchasing one of these two irons? I tested both today and found them to be very similar in both feel and distance. The p7mc’s really surprised me with how good they felt. I thought in that department it would be a no contest but it was very close. The blade length and top line look very similar at address and both are very pleasing to the eye. What I did find odd was that in standard length the Mizuno appears to be around a quarter of an inch longer in length than the Taylormade’s. Has anyone else found this to be the case? what have you found when comparing t
  6. The stronger lofts in the mmc’s will no doubt contribute to you having more spin with the t100’s.
  7. Does anyone know what the effect of putting a heavier weight into just the toe of a putter would do? I have picked up an M-craft II putter and want to know how changing weights should affect my stroke. It comes fitted with 8g weights in both the heel and the toe so was just wondering what it would do if I placed the heavier 13g weight on just one side.
  8. the forged look a bigger head than mmc or t100. Blade length is longer with a thicker top line. The lofts are stronger and I was a little bit disappointed with the feel of them. The MMC’s are more like the T-100 and feel better than the forged. They are slightly less forgiving though. I really hate how lofts are getting so strong. I play a 21* rescue so there’s no point having the 4 iron in these. The 5 is basically a 4 iron and the gaps are then bigger at the scoring end of the bag. I get that Mizuno are only doing what other companies are doing but I wish they’d left the strong lofts to t
  9. This isn’t just going to be a Taylormade problem. It’s looking like Mizuno are going to be delivering 8 weeks after ordering here in Australia. It’s unfortunate but we just have to be patient which is easier said than done! The more popular the product, the longer the wait times and this Taylormade line are going to be very popular.
  10. Got this arriving soon! M-craft ll in black with stability shaft
  11. I’m very interested to know about this comparison too
  12. I want the specs of the tours in terms of loft but the forgiveness levels of them aren’t going to do me any favours.
  13. They are both lacking a tiny bit in feel in my opinion. If you want the best feeling then the p7MC are really good just as I imagine the tour would be. The MMC feel better than the jpx also
  14. Tested the JPX921 today and I thought the feel would be better in them. They absolutely fly miles and are easy to hit but preferred the feel of the mmc’s even though I was half a club down on them. It’s debatable whether you would even use a 4 iron in the jpx clubs as the loft of it is 21 degrees. I prefer the versatility a rescue club gives me in that loft.
