1. For me, the backswing feels like I rotate core and at the same time, I lift arms. At nine o clock, if a rotate core back left so that I have no pivot, my left arm is extended over that 45 deg line u refer to. My issues seem to occur with either transition or downswing.
2. I realize you don't want to talk much about transition due to causing more harm than good, but can you touch on a little??
3. OK, I tried this arm movement w/out pivot and it seems like the clubhead is moving outside instead of straight back. Am I missing something??
4. I actually went from running to using elliptical b/c of lower back problems and the pounding I was taking from running. Elliptical works fine if you stick to changing intensity. I like to use a LoLo app for elliptical on iphone when working out. Use a heart rate monitor and keep up with calories burned.
5. Do you think it is necessary to spend a bunch of money buying overspeed training clubs and speed chains and such or can I get good results just swinging a shaft only really fast?
6.
To get more speed your best bet would be overspeed training and swinging something lighter, like an alignment stick or two, not heavier. Plus not as hard on your joints
OK, I have alignment sticks. Just swing those? Any other drills I need to do? Swing speed has dropped b/t 10 and 15 mph.
7. I have had both elbows operated on over the past two years. Right elbow done 2 years ago. Spur removed and tendon damage. Fine today. Left elbow operated on this February. Just spur removed with no tendon damage. Healthy now, but still gets sore when playing. Over the past two years, I have lost about 30yrds in distance with driver. Short irons only down about 5 yrds. Can anybody suggest a program I can do at home without going to a gym that will help me get distance back? I am 40yrs old. Have two kids so don't have time to go to gym and lift weights for an hour. I do elliptical training at home. I have resistance bands and old clubs at the house. I hit driver around 255 to 265 these days.
8.
Thanks for taking a look. My miss is the high right shot or a wipe. I really don't mind hitting it left but I hate to hit it short and right. I have always fought that inside move on the take away but can't seem to get it corrected. Anything I can do to get better I'm willing to work on. I really want to become a great ball striker.
Where are you playing now? WJ
9.
Shamless bump ha ha
Looks like the swing of someone I used to know who's wife wouldn't let them out of the house to play enough!! Ha!
10. I think it is safe to say that Geoff and Dan have both been very gracious w/ their time, energy, and intellect on this board. Both are very good at what they do. Therefore, no need for bashing. Just different strokes for different folks. Some of this reminds me of my 15 yr old daughter and her friends.
11. This is great!!! But, we need to hurry it up before the high school lunch bell rings!!
12. If you slow your chest down then how does that create a draw? Are you not slowing your swing speed as well? I don't follow.
13. Should the extension ever hit your side if you are swinging to 3 o'clock?
14. If you want the most comfortable shoes on the market buy the Trues, if you want something that will last forever you need to buy a pair of clunkers. I own several types and brands, and I am telling you the True links wear are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn outside of my Ugg house shoes.
15. They may look kind of goofy, but my trulinkswear shoes are the most comfortable golf shoes I have ever worn. They feel like you are playing in house slippers.
16.
My current driver is TItleist 910 d3 9.5 w/ a x-stiff RIP Alpha shaft. I also have proj x 6.0 shaft. I hit this driver with either shaft very high with little to no roll. This weekend, i hit a friends 909 d2 8.5 w/ stiff voodoo shaft. Hit it with much lower, piercing ball flight. Hit it a good 30 to 40 yrds longer due to ball flight and actually getting a roll. Can't find this club anywhere. Does any body have any idea why I hit it with a much better ball flight and does anybody have any suggestions of a driver I could go to that would produce similar results if I can't find a 909 d3 8.5? For what it is worth, I went from hitting 255 to 265yrds to hitting 285 to 300+ yrds.
Any Titleist experts that may have an idea??

18. I am currently hitting 910 w/ Project X 6.0 Stiff Shaft. Swing speed is b/t 108 to 113 most swings. I am being out driven by guys who swing just over 100 mph b/c I get very little roll. Does anybody have any suggestions?
19. OK. Thanks. I have a stiff flex rip alpha I am going to try.
20. OK, i am currently in Titleist 910 D3 9.5 deg w/ Xstiff Aldila RIP Alpha shaft. Had elbow surgery last August and ever since I have had trouble hitting this setup. Feel like I really have to work hard to hit the club. Lost about 20 yrds of distance. Any suggetions on what shaft I may try? Guessing swing speed now is around 105mph. I carry 5 iron 195 but can't carry driver past 260.
21. Saw slice this past weekend. He is extremely busy, but he is still working on book and website. As a matter of fact, I saw well over 10 hours of broken down video that will go w/ the website. Video broken down in detail for every part of the swing. I know he will get both done, but they are going to be done right and not simply thrown together in order to make a quick buck. I would simply say that everyone just needs to be patient and know that Geoff hasn't dropped the ball. Rather he has many balls to juggle. Trust me when I say, he will get both done and done right.
22. In the past, I would say everything under the sun has gone on in my head before putting. I recently re-watched the Bogey Man putting dvd and I am trying to focus on a set routine and then tick..tock....
