  1. Didn’t get a chance to watch, is he back in the 360’s?
  2. As much as I don’t personally care for their appearance, I don’t ever see welded hosels going out of style as there is a very utilitarian benefit to them allowing the builder to customize toe hang and address appearance to suit the needs of the player in a less costly manner. I just don’t like the aesthetics of them as it takes a truly skilled welder to make the weld look clean, and even then, I still don’t like the “unfinished” appearance. I believe on some of his models, David Mills welds then grinds out the weld marks if requested.
  3. The newer Atwood’s are looking sharp. Anyone know if he does one piece hosels(ie non-welded)? Guess I’m in the minority but I don’t care for welded hosels.
  4. that is so weird. i went to the website last week, clicked on men-->golf-->shoes and couldn't find it. then went back to the home page, clicked on shoes under men, then went to filter for golf then they showed up. anyways, yeah, they look identical structurally to the last 2 iterations. i have the original which i love, and got the gore-tex version over the winter as they were on sale for a song. the only difference i could tell was the cork footbed and addition of gore-tex. they feel identical though, which isn't a bad thing.
  5. looks like the english website is up: https://protoconceptgolf.com/pages/c05 still not a ton of info yet, particularly in regards to distribution, but better than the google translation of the japanese website.
  6. where are you seeing the new hovr drives? on the ua site or carl's?
  7. I absolutely adore my WB. It's not as wide as other WB putters out there(think SC squareback/squareback 2, Betti BB8W, Evnroll ER2.2), To my eye, it only looks a smidge wider than the standard 201. Have been dropping putts like crazy with it lately and it's reduced my SC fastback 2 to the backup roll.
  8. 1. City, State: Bridgewater, NJ 2. Handicap: ~11 3. Current putter: Custom Lajosi DD201WB 4. What Bettinardi Studio Stock putter do you want to test: SS18 33", standard sinkfit grip 5. Are you able to test equipment on a golf course with one week of its receipt: Yes 6. Do you agree to participate in an ongoing testing thread, posting reviews and photos: My pleasure
  9. Check out CodeChaos and ASICS Gel Course Duo BOA.
  10. Yeah, I sent a message to them back in January and was told they should be in stock by late February but still nothing.
  11. Anyone know if Lamkin is actually going to be releasing their 2021 products anytime soon?
  12. For some strange reason, I’ve always had “grippiness” issues with the OG white paint filled crosslines. For some reason, they always feel slightly slick to me compared to the different variations of the crossline blacks which feel “grippier” to me. IMO, the Crossline X10’s were the best deal going. A dollar cheaper than TV, but noticeably more durable and slightly more aggressive tread.
  13. Exactly...I mean, the ultimate goal of the fitters is to move product and most consumers are going to have a bias towards the big names. And in all likelihood, most golfers are going to find something that is plenty optimized among those companies so why even bother with more “fringe” brands.
  14. End thread here, this is about as comprehensive a list as you’ll see. $700 should easily get you what you want. Can also add Lajosi and TP Mills.
  15. Re: the bolded, yes, it’s a fairly large head, but smaller than the Sim Max and roughly the same size as the TSi2. Also, the default address position of the ST-Z is 1* open, and even Matt from TXG who plays a draw didn’t have any issues with any draw bias. So far, all the people I’ve seen comment on the STZ have stars how neutral the head plays. And as to your last point, the same can be said for Ping, SimTi and Cobra woods but I hardly see anyone complaining about it on them so why single out the Mizuno?
  16. I hear J.Lindeberg works well for curvy dudes.
  17. Lamkin Sinkfit PU is around 65g as are Rosemark 1.38 lite grips. There’s also P2 who has midsize grips from 50-67g.
  18. This^^. I live in western Somerset County and all public courses are open.
  19. Plenty of feedback in this thread:
  20. If there’s anything better, I’d like to know as well. Only have 4 rounds under my belt with my 2020 Hybrid, but I’m loving it so far(2 rounds I carried, 2 in a cart...oddly enough, no rounds on my pushcart for which was the primary reason I bought it). I know the Nike Air hybrid and Bagboy Chiller hybrid get a lot of praise as well.
  21. Thanks! This somewhat seals the deal for me as these 2 were on my short list. Was also considering the G425 but after seeing it in person, they are just too shallow for my taste.
