  1. NO ITS NOT!! (I just thought we’d change up what we’re arguing about! DSS - you rat bastxxx. Don’t EVER TALK TO ME AGAIN. Aaaaaand we’re back to...
  2. Maybe it really was Tiger and the author just swapped out “me” for “Tiger” in “He really screwed ME over, he would have shot 83 on his own ball Saturday” to throw everyone off?
  3. But in all honesty, whoever it was should have been man enough to put his name by his comments. None of this anonymous comments crap.
  4. Well it wasn’t Tiger, unless he has started referring to himself in the third person.
  5. I know you are right of course, but something new must be better!!!! You passed the test, you are definitely a true WRXer. You’ll receive you ID badge in the mail next week. :D Tell us more about your swing and I’m sure someone will be able to help you out on a shaft choice. I’ve played the 565 in Stiff in a Callaway 815 Alpha head but it was a little to light and soft for me so I don’t know if any recommendations I would make would be applicable to yourself or not. The more info you have/give about your swing though the better the recommendations you will get. Good Luck Sir! :)
  6. If it works I’d just replace it with a exact duplicate, no need to fix what ain’t broken. ;)
  7. I find more than 3/4g and I’ll start to notice the feel of the shaft change. Not so much on steel shafts but graphite it definitely makes a difference.
  8. I put one in a hybrid this year and it’s been great. I’m gonna try a 3w and Driver with one next year. I’m gonna use Callaway Alpha 815 heads, I just need to find some shafts for them.
  9. You can change ball on the tee but not during the hole. I'm sure the parings will have decided in advance what ball they are using. Prior to the '93 Ryder Cup (approx 6 months I believe ) Faldo sent Monty stacks of the ball he used and told Monty to get familiar with it for the purposes of foursomes in the Ryder Cup. Thanks, I was wondering about that. It would be a pretty big change/disadvantage for the player that’s not playing their normal ball would it not? For example if Bryson is trying to hit Tigers Uber spinny ball, because I can’t see Tiger changing his ball. Anyone know what bal
  10. Judging by Bubba & Webb it depends on who has any left.
  11. In alternate shot, who’s ball do they use? Or can they swap their own ball out when it’s their turn to hit?
  12. For me it depends on the golf course conditions. On a wet, soft course I could probably play just about any irons I think. But on a dry, hard course I prefer thinner soled irons for picking balls cleanly off of the hard fairways. This year I used my AP2’s in the spring and early summer when courses were softer and it rains more and then I switched to my CB’s mid summer until the end of season when courses are drier and we get less rain. :)
  13. Nice idea. What's the blue tape for? I thought it was to mark where you stand, but you're left-handed (and I see the left-handed putter) so it can't be that. Thanks. The blue tape is actually not related to the putting aid, or at least not that one anyways. I have a 6'x9' mat in my den I had been using to practice putting for a while now, the blue tape is just there to mark 2', 4', 6' and 8' from the end of the carpet where the hole is . :) Ah, I see. Also, I am happy to see multiple golf bags in the picture. A true WRXer! :clapping: I definitely do have a couple, I wouldn’t wanna los
  14. TYVM Sir, it was a fun build, I can’t wait to build the final version. I believe I’ve got everything worked out now on how I want it to come out. :) That’s a wicked find man!! I’d love to find one of those putters in Lh some day. I can’t wait to see it all finished up, make sure you post some pics. :)

  16. I built this today to help my putting, maybe it could help you too. It’s made of 1/4” MDF and is 4’6” total length, the long thin section is 1 and 1/8” wide and the square on the end is 6” x 6” with a 3” hole cut out. If the speed and line aren’t absolutely perfect, the ball wont stay in the hole. :)
  17. I can’t believe I didn’t find this thread until now, so much good info in here. I built this today in hopes to finally put and end to missed short putts. It’s made out of 1/4” MDF, 4’6” total length, the thing section is 1 and 1/8” wide and the square at the hole end is 6” x 6” with a 3” hole cut out. If You don’t get the line and the speed absolutely perfect, the ball will not stay in the hole. I’m hoping that by spring I should see some improvement in short putting and starting the ball online in general. :)
  18. What head weight are you aiming for when finished?
  19. I’m kinda partial to this one. :)
  20. I built this today out of 1/4” MDF. The stick is 4’6” long, 1 and 1/8” wide and the cup is 3”. Is it ever hard to get the ball to actually stay in the hole, after using this all winter a full size hole should look Huge in the spring. :)
  21. I have a relatively strong grip and my natural ball flight is a fade. Are they straight hooks or push/pull hooks? Edit: Welcome to GolfWRX BTW. :)
  22. I’ve been wanting to start this topic for a while and have a few minutes now while on lunch at work. I just wanted to get a running topic on the Cause and Effect aspect of the golf swing. Basically for your own swing, if you do (X), it causes (Y) to happen. What different C&E do you get when you try to to manipulate your swing to hit certain shots? I figure if we get enough replies it should be quite helpful to people. I know no to swings are alike and everyones results will be slightly different but we should be able to get a general idea of the big things anyways. Example, for myself.
  23. Older Mizuno irons had longer faces didn’t they?
