1. Thank you guys for the input. I was considering Sundance but this solidifies it. Appreciate the help!
2. I'm planning a trip up to Northern Michigan 9/9 - 9/11 (9/12? if i can talk my buddy into it), and wow. I'm really finding it to be a bit overwhelming. It's 2 of us, and I'm a true golf addict (9 hcp) who's played at about 25 of the U.S top 100 courses, my buddy (24 hcp) values the nature aspect of golfing. Anyhow, I was hoping to pick your brains on where to go. With the limited time we have, I don't want to spend too much time in the car, and would like to have a few drinks on the course (if possible), but still play the golf trip I've been dreaming of making since I caught wind of NM 10years ago. Arcadia is booked until 3pm everyday, so I'm hoping to catch that on the way home since we're coming from Chicago. Treetops was a great price but almost no availability on the top 3 courses those days. We're not so much concerned with the nightlife, but it's a bonus if there's a watering hole within walking/uber distance. I'd like to keep the budget between $500-$1000 pp. I inquired at Grand Traverse about playing Lochenheath day 1, then the wolverine and the bear day 2, and hitting arcadia on the way home. Think I'll be satisfied with those places? To give you some context, Wolf Creek in Mesquite is probably the favorite course I've ever played. Will the bear be too hard on my buddy? I've been dying to go to Traverse and experience the golf they have to offer. I just don't want to screw it up because I'm not sure when I'll have the chance to return. Any advice/suggestions you could offer would go a long way. Thanks in advance!
3. Promo code: ultimate = an extra 5% off
4. Mine were shipped to the billing address on File, not the address I provided in the email I received from golf now
5. Picked up a set of very good set of mizuno mp 67s off the used rack at golfsmith. 150 bucks seems like a find with how nice they feel
6.
Ill take those s55s. I did have the first post when ur inbox was full

7. I currently play the Cleveland ta2 and im looking for an iron that has the looks and feel of a player's club but a bit more forgiveness. Are the s55s pretty similar?
8. I scored a 9/10 G25 with a [url="http://www.google.com/aclk?sa=L&ai=CR2YvRAhuVdKGFYm1-QPG54GoDvGztc4F2bbRvMcBu-btspQCCAQQAigDYMmG_4fwo-wSyAEHqgQnT9CzbEgFwzxjlQefJ4cwWKuk9o4cQaWmf-E00pItVILXuwtwfmLqwAUFoAYmgAfbgI4VkAcDqAemvhuoB5PCG6gHlMIb2AcB4BKo9dX0p6mFxdAB&sig=AOD64_27nCZeAYiBOq0TGQMH9VUDxeCowg&ctype=5&clui=5&rct=j&q=&ved=0CCcQww8&adurl=http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-117182-37290-0/2%3Fmtid%3D1588%26kwid%3D1%26crlp%3D53601919689_324272%26itemid%3D221745797959%26targetid%3D74194842427%26rpc%3D0.14%26rpc_upld_id%3D49286%26rlsatarget%3D%26device%3Dc%26mpre%3Dhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww.ebay.com%252Fitm%252Flike%252F221745797959%253Flpid%253D82%2526chn%253Dps%26adtype%3Dpla"]Graphite Design Tour Ad Mt 6 Stiff Shaft[/url] for $200 at my local Golfsmith. From what I've read, the shaft is worth more than that alone. I only bought it because my G25 was out to Ping for repairs so I might end up returning it and taking the 90% back.
9. I really appreciate the responses. I've followed this board for quite some time and I'm very impressed with just how helpful everyone is. Thanks for the advice. Can't wait to get to the range to work on this tomorrow. I'll try to get some face on videos to post.
10. Also, how do the shoulders rotate properly in the backswing? Do the hips start the turn and the right shoulder follows, or does the shoulder pull the left hip around? I tinker here and there with this as I struggle with a hook or a shank if my timing is really off.
11. The major issue in my game is consistency. There are days when I'll go out and shoot in the low 80s and make it look easy, but it seems like I can walk out to the tee the next day and have to grind to keep myself out of the high 90s. I practice at least a couple times a week and play at least once on the weekends. Solid contact is never a concern. It just seems like once my hook comes out it's there for the foreseeable future. I don't have quick on the course remedy to fix it either. Is there anything that I can do besides continuing to practice that will help me to develop a more consistent and reliable golf swing? Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance,
