  1. Figured I'd chime in since I just got mine today. 4.5 handicap...I've hit the Tour Edge 9 degree CB4 for about 7 years. Best looking, sounding, and performing driver I've ever had, so I wasn't going to be disappointed if the exs didn't beat it. Hit them both on a launch monitor. I didn't think the exs would outperform the CB4, but it did. I ordered it with Tensei 70 X and 10.5 loft. Great feeling shaft so far. Didn't think I would ever hit a 10.5 degree driver, but I had to go with what the launch monitor was showing. First impressions hitting on the range: * Extra stiff with a b
  2. Golf commercials have always been the absolute worst. In all of advertising, there is no competition for how bad they are. Goofy production, goofy lines forced on stiff players who are as affable and entertaining as a chunk of mud... predictably embarrassing. Ricky Fowler is an exception. He's always nails. But with amazing consistency, golf commercials and the players that have to do them...suck. I just saw the new Schwab commercial with Scott McCarron on stage as a comedian. Hilarious- he nailed it as well as anyone. So...there's hope. #stophorridgolfcommercials
  3. Yes...let's unnecessarily create a problem so that the do-gooders have something to feel good about. Heck, just talking about it makes me feel good about myself.
  4. Rocco sounds like me...but I haven't quit. I love the chew and beer. I should definitely punt. Too big of a wimp, though it crosses my mind more now then ever.
  5. "Fundamentals". Good Lord. A beginner can barely grasp anything about the swing, no matter how traditional, boring, right, or wrong you make it. Like it's going to matter one iota if they experiment. They're going to suck no matter what, until they figure out how things work.
  6. Faldo was commenting on Ricky Fowler's shirt. Untucked and beach look. He said something about Fowler looking like someone that would bring a pizza. Hilarious. Not sure how the other side will take it. Fowler seems to have a pretty laid back approach to the world. I'm sure he would laugh if he heard the Faldo pizza comment, lol He should be fined, and suspended until he can adhere to the dress code. And if they don’t have one, it’s time. What the...
  7. I've been following GG for a few years now. I had to do a double take when I heard his name on the tube. Pretty cool. Wolff freakin' smashes it. His swing "method" may seem unorthodox at first glance, but it's full of proven results and some sharp smarts to back it.

  9. He kills me. He's hilarious as hell, and has great golf insight. The MLB and "Pizza Boy" bit today was awesome. I can't picture the Nick Faldo on tour being the same Nick Faldo working golf tournaments. Two different people.
  10. Geez. Winner demeanor. This dude has been nails and has hit 10/10 with every interview that he's had. His team is rolling, and they appear to have his attitude. On the other side, we have the slop-shouldered Jim Furyk trotting around the course....
  11. Man, he can play better golf than this The dude's demeanor is off.
  12. How many surgeries on his knee and back? 4-5 on each. Including a fusion. 42 years old. Ya, there's some juice involved. Whatever...incredible to watch, and I'm pulling for him.
  13. Sometimes I think I should play a full 18 using nothing but freezers on all full shots. Since I seem to hit the ball better that way.
  14. I'd get the C130 because of all the stellar reviews, but I can't do 14 way. Looking at the XCR stand bag. Seems exactly what I need since I ride 100%, but log tons of steps to and from practice sessions. $280 is awful pricey, but it's got the space and an 11" top. Wish there were more reviews out there somewhere.
