  1. You have zero clue, I’ll just keep it at that.
  2. Took golf way too serious, seemed to never fully enjoy the "game". Took a $600 lesson from a Top 50 teacher and my game went to pot. Shanks drove me away from the game. Started fishing. I can go out and not catch a thing and at least enjoy the outdoors. Been several years since I golfed even 9 holes. Now my son is in high school and he loves it. I really should start playing again, but I'm not even close to where I was 10 years ago. I love golf yet I hate golf...
  3. What's crazy is that my son is a huge rule follower and extremely well behaved. Always has been. Every coach he's ever had, regardless of the sport, love him and wish they had more like him. If it wouldn't have been on, there's zero chance he would have turned it on. But that's not the case. Him and I were practicing the night before and had it on. I should have reminded him to turn it off that night or before the tournament but I can't hold his hand 24/7. He knows he disappointed me and what he did was wrong, he feels terrible. I think in his mind, he was thinking this
  4. Thanks for the replies. It was a coed event with a girl in his high school. His hs coach was in attendance. Not some big tournament or anything but to me it doesn’t make a difference.
  5. My boy played in an event today and I found out he had his slope feature on and was using it. He’s 15 years old, knew it was on, knew it was against the rules. I’m beyond disappointed and upset, and am taking this very seriously. I’m not sure how to handle this. Make him tell his coach? Make him notify those in charge of the event? My wife and daughter think I’m blowing this out of proportion with the “I’m sure many do it”. But I give two craps about other kids, this is my son who I’m trying to raise to be honest and respect the game, etc. Though
  6. Omg, yes, that’s not correct. Right before I posted I asked my wife how tall he was and she said 52. He is 62 inches, barefoot. Sorry. I corrected my original post. Thanks!
  7. Hi everyone, have a 13 year old boy that is definitely better than average. He has always played with US Kids clubs. He’s about 62 inches tall without his shoes and weighs around 95 pounds. Not a big kid but he’s extremely strong for his size. I’ve stepped away from the game for several years but he wants to start playing again. I’m really confused as I’m not sure what to put in his hands. Another set of US Kids? Flynn? Or is he ready to hit adult heads with smaller shafts? I have no clue. Any advice would be great, thank you.
  8. Off topic but if the "Hawkeye" in your username is referring to Iowa: GO HAWKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
  9. Strong means nothing in golf. Bubba Watson looks like a pretzel, but he can hit a golf ball a mile. In golf it is about speed. What do you mean by "Can Flat out play the game of golf"? Is he shooting mid to low 70's? Are you sure he can hit it close to 200? The UL 60 club is made for swing speeds up to 69 mph. If his swing speed is higher than that, the club has to spray shots everywhere. That club was also not made to perform at swing speeds that exceed 69 mph. It is technology from 20 years ago. If that technology was good, they would still be using that technology in adult heads

  11. The Cobra F7 youth model is a beast. If my kid was right handed he would have played it when he was younger. There is Zero Comparison in a UL or Tour Series Driver when you match it up against the Cobra F7. Well numbers don't lie. Hit both in a simulator. The salesman totally agreed, not worth buying. I have ZERO affiliation with US Kids Clubs or anything golf related. IDK what to think about it, I was shocked as I REALLY wanted to buy it. :) Then your kids swing speed isn't fast enough to take advantage in the technology. I have seen this club in use and it is a beast. Well he's
  12. Yeah it's so easy to access. They say over in Japan (or somewhere over there) that they have a term for young men that don't even date anymore because they don't need to. A couple clicks and you have a thousand women to pick from for the night (or 4 minutes). Can't say I blame them, been there, done that, still do sometimes when the old lady is tired. :) Also doctors in the US are seeing young men with ED because they watch so much porn. Video games are a problem as well, or can be. Some have died from playing for days straight. My son introduced me to some Tank game on our ipads and holy

  14. I got him some Project A balls and also the Wilsons. He's playing the former and really hasn't tried the other yet. I think it's a really good fit for him.
  15. Addiction is unfortunately very common. Alcohol, drugs, porn, gambling, you name it. My wife's uncle is addicted to gambling. He just lost 8k last Thursday night and even 40k one day. He's not rich either. Lost his marriage over it. It's seriously ruined his life and he can't stop. I also have an addictive personality. I don't drink much anymore but when I did I drank a lot. Liked to smoke the green stuff as well. Luckily I gave all that up before I got married and I don't even like to drink around my 3 kids. Had a tooth removed a couple weeks ago and she was going to give me some pain med
