Thanks CoiledUp and Hawkeye. Both hit on something that I really struggle with, letting tension go during my swing. The past few years I have muscular back problems when I am playing and practicing the most which I believe has to do with this, I usually have to take a month or more off during peak season to try and recover. Could you expand on this a little: "open on the rotational side by rounding yourself off to the ball at address" I don't understand what this means.

Looking for some help on 1/2 to 3/4 pitch shots where I seem to shank these to often. I noticed that when I slowed my backswing up and paused at the top I was making much more consistent contact in the center of the face, versus closer to the hosel when I was going back my regular speed. Current handicap 13 What are you looking to improve on: I want to become a better ball striker with my irons. My GIR is around 30% this year, I want to get that above 50% next year. State why you'd want to test the Swing-U App: I have done several videos analysis lessons in the past, and I have found them very beneficial. So much easier than an in person lesson and I already hit often into a net in the garage and record my swing nearly every time I do that.
