    Need help..

Also TP5 and TP5X practice stamped balls are abundantly available , almost always for < $20dz.
  3. Its a little snarky but not too rude I hope.

  5. I'm always one to advocate for Bayonet/Blackhorse but after last weekend and honestly moving forward I would avoid Bayonet. Greens were strangely hard in a not fun way. In addition they are throwing up houses in between holes which makes an already tight (feeling) course even tighter. Poppy Hills though is going to start work on 2 greens, they hadn't yet as of 11/22/21 but scheduled to start which means temporary greens. So cross Bayonet and Poppy Hills off your list. Blackhorse was still a blast though. Maybe Poppy Ridge instead? Get them on a golf board .
  6. Ping surprisingly has been the worst for me lately. Crown on my 400Max catastrophically failed perpendicular to the face last November (Granted it was the best driver I've ever hit over the previous 18 months.) Then they didn't have any replacement stock so they sent me a 410LST that failed the same as yours after very little practice or play in April. They again had no replacement stock so I got a 425Max , that I had to send in last week because the weight screw sheared in half . Luckily they were able to simple remove and replace the screw. Just bad luck in a lot of ways. Though I did just crack the face of my p770 five iron...Maybe we are just hard on clubs.
  7. Dang , if only I had waited 4 days. You would have my money instead of sub70. Great price, GLWS.
  8. Also out in Carmel is Carmel Valley Ranch. Not the longest but great course conditions and pretty fun layout. Only caveat is sometimes the only public tee times are in the afternoon, to book something earlier you needed to be staying on property or a member. Not sure if that is still the case.
  9. Any trade interest for the 7s? I have a triple track 2ball and a stroke lab Big Seven Toe Up both in 34" in minty shape that are just gathering dust since my old Exo 7s can't be beat.
  10. I would say that if an instructor isn't using/familiar with current technology/theory then he isn't someone I want to work with. Most people that are good in their field are always learning and striving to be better. That being said if an instructor can't utilize the tech and then distill that into usable information for the student well..... It sounds though that you don't actually want to change your swing (or put the work in to do so). The short game instruction sounds like a better bet, additionally some on course instruction on how to maximize scoring with your current ability and improve your course strategy may pay more dividends.
  11. 1. City, State? Newman,CA 2. Handicap? 11.8 3. What is your current putter? Have a few different #7's in the rotation, currently using a EXO 7s w/ pistol grip. 4. Have you ever used a L.A.B. Golf putter? My good buddy just put one in the bag, a DF2.1 in nickel which looks great. 5. Why do you want to review the MEAZZ.1 putter? I've really been looking to put a LAB in the bag but after my latest iron purchase I said no more club buying until I get some lessons. But if I don't buy it ....then its fine. 6. Do you agree to participate in an ongoing testing thread, posting reviews and photos? Yep, plus a trip to Monterey in late Nov should be a perfect test.
  12. So my personal favorite is getting a 48" straight edge and just putt so they just roll off the straight edge. You can plop this down almost anywhere and it is super cheap. The other positive is that you start the ball in the nail hang hole so it also gets you to hit up slightly (present positive loft). https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00004YYFV/ $11 Did I mention you can also use it for actual products. I'm not sure if there is a better training aid for value.
  13. 1. Must subscribe to Club Champion's YouTube channel HERE Done 2. Search for your local Club Champion location HERE Done 3. What Club Champion location would you get fit at? San Francisco 4. Have you been fit for clubs before? Yep , about 6 yrs ago at Haggin Oaks. Seemed cool at the time until I learned how much more a fitting could be. I blame TXG. 5. What part of your bag could use a fitting? I mean I would say the whole thing. Though more in the details - shafts, lie angles, putter lengths/lie. Then again it could all be wrong.
  14. I really like Whirlwind courses. Facility is nice, especially the locker room for a little shower and kickback between rounds. The courses aren't as punitive as others but fun factor is there and no houses around is a nice change of pace.
  15. Yes these are torque wrenches that click when the appropriate torque has been reached. I've yet to have a "bad" one. But never had a pxg version. If you have any t25 screws laying around put one in a piece of scrap wood and see how it feels when it clicks.
