I hit both side by side for weeks and ultimately went 545. Difference? Yah, there is quite a bit of difference. 545 gets the ball moving no matter where you hit it. The feeling was the same. Just hate the jacked lofts on the 545. Bought 5-P and added the A wedge to ultimately have 4-P. Food for thought, if you go 545, don't get the 545 A wedge. Its bigger than my direct TV dish. Should have gotten the 745 wedge.
Thanks mate I think the 545 are great but think the 745 are just a bit softer off the face for me, they are both great clubs though.
 2.
hey jm i went with the 745 because they looked perfect to my eye and i was coming from ap2 loving the 745 soooo much better and the nippon modus 120x just make them the ultimate club, but im still playing tour issue s400 in my tvd wedges ive always loved them for wedge shafts
Thanks Fuji I agree that the 745 are pretty close to perfection.
I went with the Z545 4 iron and I prob could have went with the 745...545 is nice though
Thanks mate I have just bought a set of 745 but wanted to here from people that have hit both as 545 have a huge following.

 5. Thanks Fuji when my boss said that I could have them for that price I just couldn't not buy them, even if i end up buying different shafts for them its still an awesome price for what I think is one of the irons of the year. How do you find the 745 driver and did you try the 545 fairways and hybrids and if so did u not like them.
 6. Hi Everyone been following this topic from the start and really enjoying reading it, only problem is I read so many good things about these irons I bought a set with DGs300 in them 4-PW over the weekend, I don't know if I'm the first guy from Australia to join this topic but just thought i would say thanks guys on pointing me in the right direction on a superb set of irons, I would have liked the Nippon shafts in them that you all love but since I got my set for 350 dollars brand new" I work in a golf shop so my boss got this set in stock when they were first out" so he sold them to me for cost price I thought they were to good to pass up. Anyway take care from down under and again thanks for the entertaining read. Cheers Todd.
 7. I have Wilson staff fg tour v2 irons with KBS tour reg shafts in them does any body know if they are tapered tip or parallel, any info would be helpful.
 8. Thanks for the quick reply mate I have just started working for a golf shop here in Australia so i have hit the srixon and the Titleist but the wilson rep was in the other day and said he had one set left of the fg tour v2 irons 4-PW and said I could have them for $300 even with my staff discount couldn't get either of the other two sets for anywhere near that price, how forgiving would you say they are.
