  1. I thought it was so weird there wasn’t a mention of Bushnell. Is there going to be 2 completely different devices?
  2. I'm guessing when they say fall release they mean letting people pre-order these things for Christmas kind of like gaming consoles have done for years? "Coming this fall" sounds so promising until you realize fall doesn't end until Dec. 21st.
  3. What's the Facebook Group called? Or could you link to it?
  4. I’m excited for comparison videos to start coming especially with the Mevo+. I coach a small school college golf team in the Midwest and we were about to pull the trigger on a couple of Mevo+ but decided to wait when the R10 was announced. One thing that I was really worried about with the Mevo+ was how finicky indoor setup is, especially the known interference issues. If the R10 is in the same league with Mevo+ performance-wise and has a more user-friendly setup then it’s almost a no-brainer with the price tag.
  5. Hey everyone, I'm looking to see if there's a good list or database somewhere out there that has the newest clubs listed by their launch date? Maybe some sort of launch calendar that you can look at the history of. I've seen a few but most just display upcoming releases and then delete past launches. I'm always trying to stay on top of what's new in equipment and yet there are things that I miss. Anything like this out there?
  6. Looking to get some headcovers for a golf outing. Probably around 150-200 headcovers total. Has anyone ordered from Alibaba and have a recommendation on a supplier? Or does anyone know of a US manufacturer with a good bulk discount?
  7. NAIA college coach here. It’s great that you’re already thinking ahead. Some advice: 1) focus on really good high school gpa and standardized test scores. The difference between a student with 4.0 GPA and 30 act and a student with 2.8 GPA and 20 act will be THOUSANDS in scholarship money. It’s very rare to get full rides in golf (except jucos) so academics can supplement the golf scholarships in a lot of cases. 2) Create a recruiting profile for your son on NCSA and update it with tournament scores as much as possible. Also add face on and down the line swing videos. Ask his coach to take them. Coaches also like to know club distances/club head speed. He probably won’t get many (if any) responses at his age but when he’s a junior or senior that profile will get a lot of attention. 3) If your son is really a standout play state-wide or national golf tournaments as much as possible. There’s a big difference between winning a high school tournament and a AJGA tournament. 4) I would start contacting schools Sophomore year, visiting schools Junior-Senior year. Let me know if you have questions.

  9. Wow, so sorry I missed this! My wife had kids and I totally lost track of golf. I haven’t had the chance to play much, but a lot of what you’ve said are things I’ve been working on!
  10. We're a private school, so we do not depend on state funding! Thanks everyone for the responses! The GolfWRX Community is awesome!
