  1. The Under Armour T-shirt is actually a long sleeve tee and color blocked green and white. Here’s a pic.
  2. After some discussion, the blue Callaway pants are actually rain pants. I have edited the first post. Here are a couple of pics out of the plastic of them.

  4. Completely random, but you still need to act fast if chosen. J23 and this thread will usually start notifying that people are getting their prebuys before you actually get a notification from the app. So you have to login as fast as you can. The prebuy stuff usually happens 2 days before the drop, so sometime during the day on 3/2. The app will say, “Held for you until 7PM” which is an absolute lie. You have to order right away as they only release a small percentage of the total amount of shoes early. The prebuys will sell out in all sizes in minutes so you have to act fast. Then if
  5. Snow is water? They are two different words. If snow was water, we wouldn’t need the word snow. We’d just say water.
  6. Who said the middle of the 10th fairway? At my course, and a few others I know of around here, the parking lot is on the left side of the 10th hole. He could hit the drive on 10, see it land and know which club he needed at that point and pit stop at his car on the way to his ball. Or if he’s in a cart, race up, look at the lie and yardage, drive back to his car and get his club, then get back to his ball all before the group ahead had moved away. It completely depends on the design of the course in relation to the parking lot. Plenty of guys in my club keep a cooler in their car to
  7. Wow. After the concords, those are my favorite J’s. Looks great in a golf shoe. Take my money please. Lol.
  8. You can’t have temporary water in a Penalty Area. It’s literally the first bullet point in the definition of temporary water.
  9. It’s about time. Now to eliminate green books. Get the pro game closer to how we ams play.
  10. A lot of places have “covid local rules”, in place because there aren’t any rakes, which gives you lift-smooth-place in the bunkers. My friends and I always play it as it lies in the bunker. In the OG rules of golf there weren’t rakes. I wish the current rules would just do away with rakes. Don’t like the lie, don’t hit it there. No rules require you to play your ball into a bunker.
  11. Sorry I wasn’t clear in number 1, it was in the sand. Thanks for the answers. The bit about hitting it out without ID and no penalty had me perplexed. Especially since you are allowed to move sand etc. to ID the ball then recreate the lie. He was pretty certain it was ok to just hit it out then ID it later as it was almost KVC it was his ball, but you never know for sure without actually ID-ing it. Which you can do, and should do, for free. Number 2, I was 99% certain no relief, play it as it lies, but couldn’t find it for some reason. The search function in the app is too
  12. Thanks for any help in advance. I just couldn’t find these for some reason, and I still can’t find them, definitively. 1st: Player hits it toward a bunker. When he gets there, he sees a ball buried in the face and can see only the very top of the ball. No ID marks. He’s pretty sure it’s hid ball. Can he play it, then find out later if it’s his without penalty? Or does he have to ID it first by marking and cleaning it enough to see for sure it’s his? I don’t know why he didn’t want to mark and check it, he wanted to play it out, then check. But only if there wasn’t a penalty
  13. I say roll it all back. They dropped the ball when they allowed “woods” to become metal. Then they allowed the size of the head to get bigger and bigger. Roll the head size back to the size of the last persimmon before metal driver heads and roll it back to persimmon. Or metal with the same size and COR of persimmon. Limit driver length to 43.5” and no more graphite shafts. All shafts are metal or wood. Roll it all back and start over. And, amazingly (not), the best players will still be the best players. Your recreational golfer already stinks at golf, so them shooting 2-5
  14. Correct, but, it has to be in it’s own pitch mark. Once it bounces, unless physics give up for a short time, it’s nearly impossible to come to rest in it’s own pitch mark.
  15. I can’t believe this story still has legs. CBS spent like 10 minutes on it on Sunday. Unless you believe Reed is flat-out lying, and DID see his ball bounce and is lying about it, here are the facts and it’s very, very simple. He walked up and found his ball looked embedded. It’s wet out so there’s a really good chance it was embedded. He didn’t see it bounce. He asked his playing partners if they saw it bounce, they didn’t. He asked the spotter in the area if she saw it bounce. She didn’t. By all available info, outside of TV replay or he did see it and is lying, there’s no way he c
  16. This was WAY too small for me as I need an XXL. Anyone else try a similar vest in a larger size for bigger people? Thanks.
  17. Why not just lift and drop from any lie in your own fairway? No cleaning, no placing. Limited to ONE drop. That way some randomness is still guaranteed. Also, you can’t intentionally clean your ball. If you give folks LCP, they will roll their ball on every single lie. But if they have to bend over, drop it, and aren’t allowed to clean it, and have to accept the results of the drop, they’ll likely only save it for the worst lies. Like divots, depressions, etc. without having to define what those are. No subjectivity. Don’t like the lie? Lift it and drop it within
  18. I have tried many bags on my clicgear. The ONLY bag that works for me is the Sun Mountain Sync. 14-way dividers though. I’m not sure why someone wouldn’t want the dividers. The Sync is the best bag for push carts when you factor everything in.
  19. Not so well. It feels pretty “whippy” and not stiff enough I think. Either that or I just may not be able to time it. I popped it up a lot. Sky high. I might bring it out in the spring. I may have to go to my fitter and see what’s the deal with the release on this shaft. It’s likely the completely wrong profile for me.
  20. Oh the irony. In order to make that first post, he had to use an email address to login that is ALREADY being bought and sold. Just use the same email. It’s already compromised. It’s also more secure. I’m sure there is a way to social engineer your unsecured GHIN number back to your credit card info. I don’t know how, I’m not a crook, but I’m sure there’s a way.
