  1. I was wondering what everyone was using for online Handicap trackers and what the costs were and the reviews of the various sites. I need to find a replacement for Stracka, as it appears the site has gone down.

  5. If anyone has a used one for sale let me know. I am interested in trying it out.
  6. I am in the process of refinishing a Scotty Cameron Del Mar 3.5 and need a recommendation for a new shaft. It is going to be 3x black and want it to play 33.5". What shaft should I put in it? Looking for feel. Also, what inputs does everyone have for paint fill? I am thinking pretty classic - white lettering/sightlines, red dots, yellow crown. What else would you all recommend?
  7. Let's see. In the last 2 years it has been. in no particular order 1. Yonex Cyberstar Forged - currently in bag 2. Miura CB202 3. Srixon i506 4. Nike CCI Forged 5. Taylormade Burner St 6. Callaway Fusion 7. Mizuno MP14 8. Mizuno MP32 9. Callaway Xtour There probably are more, but this is all I can remember. The Yonex are the softest, best feeling forged irons I have ever played. They will stay in the bag for quite a while.
  8. Bridgestone J33 R460 w/ Accrs SC75 has been the ticket for me for the past 2 years. I moved from the 510TP. My swing speeds and numbers are similar to yours. the J33 provides the forgiveness of a 460cc head without looking like your are swinging a 5 gallon bucket. I feel like have can go after the ball when I want or throttle back and place one in the fairway when needed. It has been a great club for me. Highly underrated and cheap on ebay right now.
  9. Hi Joe, Is this thread still open? If it is I could use your help with a new driver head/shaft recommendation. 1. What is the club existing set up? ( loft, shaft, flex, swing weight, lenght, etc ) - Bridgestone J33r 460 9.5* / Accra T70 M4 / D2 I believe / 45.5 length 2. What type of swinger are you? ( smooth or quick tempo swinger ) - tend to be quick at the tope, trying to make swing change to cure this but do load heavy on the downswing. Also tend to have a steep angle of attack which elevates my spin rates. 3. What is your handicap and on a scale 1-10 how consistent is your swin
  10. You can find a Bridgestone J33r 460cc or Tour Edge Exotics 460cc for around $75 on ebay as well. These are both great, hi-quality heads that don't get much publicity
  11. The best fitter I have found in Dallas for driver fitting with high end shafts is Bill Chong at Compugolf in Carrolton, TX. Here is the contact info Compugolf 1405 W Frankford Rd Suite 110 Carrollton TX 75007 972.242.PUTT(7888) they are a distributor of Accra, Diamana, and a few others. I believe a driver fitting is around $100. It takes about an hour and has a 90 day playability guarantee
  12. I go out of my way to play irons that are unknown to most. My recent sets have included Srixon 506's, Miura CB201's, Macgregor PCB Tours, and now Yonex Cyberstar Forged CB's. These are by far the softest irons I have ever played, even better than the Miura's. The club is a very clean look, sets up well at address, and feels smooth when struck well. They will be in my bag for quite a while
  13. I have seen several assertions here that the Macgregor PCB Tours from 98-00 were forged by Miura. I checked with Miura North America VP and he says no. Mr Miura claims he did not work with Macgregor at that time. He has worked with Macgregor in the past, but did not forge these irons. I was wondering if this is accurate, since everyone here seems confident that they are indeed Miura forged. Either way, they are great clubs with a fantastic soft feel. They look very similar to the CB301's. Probably one of the nicest looking sets of irons ever made.
