  1. This is one of my favorite topics, but it’s almost impossible to actually discuss putter sound. Know what I mean? It’s just so subjective and difficult to describe. I love trying every putter possible to get a feel for the sound of everything. From experience with a ton of putters, cavity thickness seems to have more impact on sound than milling depth. I’ve had deep milled putters with a high pitched metallic sound, and I’ve had flymilled, almost smooth, faced putters with a soft muted sound. more in line with your q., pings vault 2.0 anser head has incredible feel. Definitely a nice click.
  2. Gen 3 0311t irons shipped in 3 days, received in 7 due to a delay in transit. At these prices, i'm amazed more people aren't jumping on them.
  3. different shafts, but not crazy different. $taper lite s in the apex pro. Modus pro 105 x in the pxg. the $ taper lites are the real deal for high launch without ballooning. Super underrated shaft. It gives the club head a lot of presence in the swing. The modus feel is different but I am definitely digging it. For me, these fly lower
  4. Just switched from Alex Pro 19 to Gen 3 0311t. apex pro’s are crazy long, but I needed to be able to hit lower shots and I was happy to lose a club of distance. 0311t is less forgiving, but not drastically so. Dispersion on good shots is much better for me. They don’t jump. I don’t get enticed to hit a 9 iron 185. Apex pro 19 is a legit amazing club that would be excellent for so many golfers, I might end up missing them. Honestly thinking the new apex pro with a little more low spin shaft could be the best thing going, but I couldn’t resist the PXG prices and shipping time. Had them in less than 10 days from order. Stoked on the 0311T looks, too.
  5. Callaway Apex Pro ‘19 4-PW in great shape. These are standard loft, 1* flat, standard length. Kbs $-Taper Lite S, pured. Golf pride NDMC black grips. These were bought and built through club championship. I have included pics of the 3 iron here as well which is barely used. I plan to keep it unless someone would need the 3-PW. $700 OBO, not really interested in trades right now. Mizuno MP18-SC 3-PW, DG S300, standard L/L/L, Golf Pride NDMC midsize black $400 SOLD
  6. Price drops on the betti and the giannini
  7. Should have mentioned I'm not really hunting any trades, but I'd go for a Mizuno M Craft V or VII, 35" in black. Also, reasonable offers will be entertained on these putters.

  9. good call, definitely will give that a go. I'll report with results.
  10. Had to revive this, as I'm looking to filter some HF sound from a new putter i just got. Totally agree on the thickness behind the face being the main source. With the variety of putters I have, the face thickness/cavity depth is the main culprit. However, the current one I'm looking at has a thin sole in part of the flange. That thing also resonates. Going to try sound dampening tape or roofing tape, which appears to be the same thing. But I'd love to hear other experiences on reversible solutions.
  11. I am a no-show connoisseur. Been wearing them for ages, always trying new brands, trendy brands, etc. I even wear them in hockey skates sometimes because they sit below the ankle bones and don’t cause any issues. I’m not a bargain hunter when it comes to clothing and gear, I just want my stuff to work well, look good, and be durable. I’ll cough up the ridiculous prices for single pairs of socks in hopes of finding the top performers. Some are great until they’re washed, some wear out after a dozen cycles, some just keep performing. These are what you need. Years of wear and still what I choose first for golf. https://www.target.com/p/hanes-premium-men-s-4pk-liner-socks-white-6-12/-/A-54158626?ref=tgt_adv_XS000000&AFID=google_pla_df&fndsrc=tgtao&DFA=71700000012577550&CPNG=PLA_Men%2BShopping|Men_Ecomm_AA&adgroup=SC_Men&LID=700000001170770pgs&LNM=PRODUCT_GROUP&network=g&device=m&location=9020976&targetid=pla-1069759242670&ds_rl=1246978&ds_rl=1248099&ds_rl=1241788&gclid=Cj0KCQjwraqHBhDsARIsAKuGZeH9eZIy6wOYEbCYcXGDfE_zimUwymCTMUO653QEoBqDXXtWadWKmSAaAjdsEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds
