  1. Thank you for all the replies. I’ll work on just a couple of things and try and put up some more swings in a couple of weeks. Stand correct distance from ball Ball can be a bit further forward in stance Less sway in hips during back swing and work on getting club face squared earlier
  2. Move the ball up in stance to be just in front of sternum (just on left pec for irons) On the back swing feel like there’s no slide for weight transfer and just rotation ?
  3. I understand and ideally I would go and see an instructor but I’ve heard some negative things about the local pro so I’m not sure. I’m looking into online lessons but because I’m in Australian I just have to try and work out times and logistics.
  4. I think my hips have slid away from target slightly and it seems like I have a slight reverse pivot? What problems does playing the ball to far back in the stance create?
  5. So I managed to hit some balls today and was focusing mainly on trying to get a squarer face as well as not getting the right leg as straight in the backswing(which I thought I was doing but the video says otherwise. Swing felt horrible and didn’t hit one good shot Any advice from the videos? The first two are half swings with a wedge and the third video is a shank with a 6 iron FullSizeRender.mov FullSizeRender.mov FullSizeRender.mov
  6. Sorry I meant inside of foot not instep which I think you’re saying is the correct feeling. So if I can get the back swing looking closer to the first pic you posted (rather than over turning and getting stuck behind my body) that should help a few issues? Along with getting club face squared earlier
  7. Ok thank you. I’ll work on getting a bit more room in the setup and I’ll try and post a front on video
  8. Thank you for the feedback. So weight on the backswing should transition to instep of my right foot and both legs should keep a similar knee bend to them through the swing? And the right elbow needs to stay more connected/out in front of body rather than getting stuck behind?
  9. Ok so the club face has to start squaring earlier in the transition/downswing and the right hip needs to work back more rather than left hip out. which should I start working on first? Ideally both I know but I don’t want to have 5 swing thoughts until I get one engrained
  10. Thanks for the reply, do you mean to keep more flex in the knee during the backswing? I thought the arms were supposed to hang straight down during set up, if I move the ball out won’t it mean my arms are more out on an angle?
  11. I have a tendency to miss the strike towards the heel with a really bad shot being a sh#nk. Some days I can go out and stripe it but 2 days later it’s off the heel again or big pull hooks I think from looking at other videos i have an open club face but for the life of me I can’t seem to keep square on the back swing. Is there any other major issues I need to overall to try and improve? FullSizeRender.mov FullSizeRender.mov
  12. Any help greatly appreciated. What are the good parts of the swing that I can work with and what needs to change to improve? Lately I have been hitting out of the heel of the club a lot with a shank every now and then. Thanks in advance FullSizeRender.mov FullSizeRender.mov
  13. All my lessons lately have just been trying to get my path a little straighter. Been a bit to in to out which when my timing is out means a big draw or a push. Played 18 again today and driver was good again 11/14 fairways but only hit 5 greens. At least I know what to work on ??
  14. No worries at all. Although I think you're on a different level to my game at the moment
