  1. I may be doing this all wrong but I typically see the face of the wedge when I use them....not the back?
  2. Renewed my membership this year. I like the color scheme but not a huge fan of the racing theme. Hopefully the '22 releases start off with a bang
  3. Some cool stuff in the catalog. When can we expect 2022 releases?
  4. I talked to Titleist this morning and they are going to send me replacement screws asap. Should be a very easy fix!. Glad the bag is still in perfect condition.
  5. I ordered this bag through a Titleist retailer. I searched the Titleist forums and people have had similar issues. I wish Titleist could just send me a replacement pin. I can imagine shipping them a bag and waiting for one to be returned could take forever right now.
  6. Got a Players 4 Carbon bag last December and one of the legs detached from the bag the other day. The bag / leg are in great condition it seems as if the one of the screws in the pin that attaches the leg to the bag came out. Has anyone had this problem? right now I have a bolt and nut holding it together but really dont like having to rig a brand new bag like this. 0E063F3D-ED01-4307-AB49-85CF0179D526.heic
  7. Saw where Golfworks has a shaft I have been looking for that has been hard to find/ backordered in other places. Anyone used this website and have any feedback? They seem to have DG onxy wedge shafts in stock.
  8. Just ordered a 5.5 X through my club and went with a pistolini plus
  9. I want to order a Phantom 5.5 soon and just wanted to know if anyone has ordered one lately what the shipping time was like. I ordered a full set back in June after my TPI fitting and it took about a month and half to get all my clubs. I hope if I order the putter asap I can maybe get it here by Christmas. Maybe Scotty Clause can come through for me!
  10. what time was the last drop? and what are we speculating as the next drop?
  11. keep watching...rabbit hole starts month 2
  12. Staying in Oceanside June 1-4. I got a TPI fitting on the 3rd but want to play the day before. Any suggestions for the Oceanside/Carlsbad area? Not looking for anything super nice but I don't wanna play somewhere thats in bad shape. Would spend 50-100 bucks haha I know thats a broad range.
  13. I am so ready for this trip....gonna get a tee time set before this week is over and map out the breweries/food places I wanna try during free time.
  14. Collecting got a lot less fun over the last two releases...
  15. Uhhh I paid 150 bucks for the membership kit....cant even get the site to load sometimes. Im not grumbling bc I miss out on things. Would like things to run somewhat smoothly and have maybe a tad bit of consistency
  16. Are wanting to buy post allowed in here? what would be the best way for me to get it out that I am looking for something. Currently getting scolded on TCC for posting the wrong thing. Im just a guy searching for a cinco cover....sad sad day
  17. I have never been upset with SC until now. Like I expect big companies to screw over the consumer...why in the heck was this a monday drop? Cinco was the only head cover I wanted this year to commemorate my first CC purchase. THIS SUCKS
  18. What would someone have to go through to get a black shaft in the new 5.5
  19. I appreciate all the input. I am definitely going to get a round or two in while I’m in town. I got everything booked so the only thing left to do is wait. I haven’t read anything bad about the fitting experience and this is going to be my first time getting fit for clubs so I anticipation grows by the day. Figured I’d list whats in my bag now and update this after my fitting. Reading the many reviews and experiences on here made booking the trip easier with every read. Driver This is the only driver I’ve ever owned. It is going to be a sad day when my red baby gets taken out of the bag. This thing has been through it but feels as hot as it did in 2013. Ive played it exactly how it came out of the plastic. Nike VR_S Covert 10.5 Stock Kuro Kage 50 Stiff Woods I got the 3 wood with the driver so the history is deep with that one. It’s odd seeing a fixed hosel on a club these days. I have never really gotten comfortable with this club so it will be nice to get a fresh start with something. The 5 wood is my baby and I am interested to see if a hybrid takes this clubs spot or I stay with a 5 wood. I took my gap wedge out to have another spot for a club at this end of the bag. I think the average golfer needs more help at this end rather than 4 loft options around the green. Nike VR_S Covert 15 Stock Kuro Kage 60 Stiff Nike VR_S Covert Tour 2.0 19 Stock Kuro Kage 70 Stiff Irons I made the switch from my Nike VR_S Pro Combo to these blades after getting them in the most ludicrous golf swap ever. A buddy of mine needed a Nintendo Switch for his baby sister when they were in popular demand so he gave me a full set of 716 MBs for the Nintendo Switch I had. These suckers were in immaculate shape and basically cost me 300 bucks. I want to blend a set of the MBs with some help in the 4 and 5 iron and probably replace my 3 with a hybrid or utility. I am looking forward to optimizing iron specs. Switching to blades and realizing first hand that they were aren’t as big of a game changer as cliche golf talk makes them out to be has been a pleasant experience over the past year Titleist 716 MB 3-9 Stock Dynamic Gold S300 Wedges I love these things. Slight love hate relationship with them because they contributed to the fasciitis in my elbow but these are the only clubs that have my personal touch on them. I got the blacked out SM6s and soaked/scrubbed them until they appeared as raw steel. Then I colored the paint fill in to match the schools that I have coached football at. I plan to do the same with a new lineup of SM8s and want to dive into stamping. The old SM6s will be great for practice. Titleist Vokey SM6 46f/54s/58s Stock Dynamic Gold S200 Putter Got this sucker from Golfsmith circa 2014 for 150 bucks off. The Nike Method I owned at the time had a very high resale value apparently. (Cashier at Golfsmith was shocked lmao). I sent it to the custom shop to have it tricked out and love the result. I want to start a Scotty Collection and eventually put this one up on the wall. A new Phantom 5.5 would be nice but that may be purchased later in the summer. From the website it doesn’t seem like TPI does putter fittings. Makes sense with the SC Gallery being so close. Scotty Cameron Select Newport 2.5 33 inch
  20. My head cover shipped yesterday....heading to Oceanside, CA in June. Anyone in this thread been to the SC Gallery?
  21. I was able to snag a cover finally. Went off my iphone not connected to wifi. I like it. I have a dog that looks like that and my scotty is stamped with the name of my old dog. So I couldnt pass it up lol
  22. How often does the Custom Shop change themes or accessories?
  23. No book/manual. The Foundations "curriculum" is presented in monthly modules. Each month has a handful of videos that vary in length from 5 to 25 minutes. Each month came available every 2/3 weeks after purchase it seemed. There is also a separate dashboard that has random videos Scott has made and recordings of podcasts he has done. There is a ton of content as well as the yardage book generator (one of the best features IMO) and the stats analysis portal. Birdiefire seems to have an EXTENSIVE dashboard but thats separate form DECADE
  24. I would say that I have had much more consistent play. I focus more on process and managing expectations rather than results and that has been a huge factor in shooting some lower scores. I think the biggest thing was just the psychological shift I had in how I approach all things golf related. Practice, aiming, understanding variance and pattern, and also that golf is hard and even the very best in the world are going to play terrible. Having a turn key "why" system eliminates everything but the non negotiables. Specifically: Off the tee - Making better decisions on which club to take off the tee. This has eliminated a shot or two a round by never putting myself in a bad spot solely based on club choice and target line. Playing one shape and developing a pre shot routine down to the second has taken a lot of pressure off a previously weak part of my game. Approach Shots - having a simple process to choose the mathematically optimal target for approaches. Understanding the depth and width of dispersions makes choosing the right club easier. Managing expectations for proximity to hole was a huge help. At the end of the day even the pros ultimately have no clue where the ball is gonna end up so standing over a shot and knowing I am really aiming "the potential outcome of a millions shots" rather than 1 shot has made iron play alot more enjoyable. Shortgame - the one thing Scott did help me with regarding short game is playing around with a reverse overlap grip for certain stock wedge shots and idk what kinda voodoo magic that is but I have never been this good at pitching. Putting - this has been an area where I have gotten considerably more consistent. I do not try and make any putts. Its one of the first tenants of DECADE. I worry about speed and just trying to get my ball close to the hole. The birdies will come. I never practice putting at holes anymore. Just the speed drills he teaches. To people that have played a lot of golf in their life or at any kind of competitive level these things may sound mundane and you probably already do them. All good golfers are going to intuitively do these things. I just think having a process that allows you to quantify parts of your process and can repeat them no matter where you are or how good you are at golf helps. Golf is so hard you have to play it in the simplest way and as a result this makes golf easy (on paper haha)
