  1. For those of you looking for zx5 - 4 and 5 irons, I could have an option for you.
  2. This is why we love and hate golf. I had some good scores over the summer and early fall - and now and I can't seem to do anything right. The 2 things I'm going to focus on are dialing in the 100 yd shots and 2 - not hurting myself off the tee. I do not hit the range because of my left elbow right now - so most of my practice centers around chipping and putting. And with putting, keeping the expectation in check are key. 50/50 if I hole anything outside of 6-7 feet is reasonable. But the thing that resonated with me this year is "C" above... when I stopped counting how much over par I was and just played, things started to click. Keep score - but don't add them up until after the round. Before I did that, I'd be stuck on 79 and finish bog - bog -> 81. Love the game and how it we can never truly master it.
  3. A few things that need to find a new home: 1. Srixon zx5 4 and 5 irons Almost new - face and soles like new - 2 rounds KBS C-Taper 120 stiff matte grey Standard L/L/L Asking for $270 obo for both shipped 2. Graphite Design Tour AD-DI 7S driver shaft Callaway adapter Measures approx 44.25" Asking for $215 obo shipped 3. Mizuno MP-20 HMB 7 iron New in plastic KBS $-Taper stiff black Asking for $130 obo shipped 1. Srixon zx5s 2. GD Tour AD-DI 3. MP20 HMB 7
  4. After a year of folks on the zx7s - what's the verdict? 745s or zx7s? Would love to try both but buying both would probably be excessive (not a true wrx'er yet ).
  5. For the 10 HCs and above - how have the zx7s worked for you? It sounds like the 4-6 in the zx5s and 7-P zx7s is a fairly common combo setup for players of all levels.
  6. Maverik SZs. Have a 15 and 16.5 - of which the 4 wood is currently in play.
  7. Do these numbers look right as far as how the flex is measured? If so - the modus 120s's are very soft. Further down in that thread they list the PX 6.0 at 356 or something... source = https://forum.tourspecgolf.com/topic/43298-modus-series-flex-numbers/
  8. Same question - why do the 765 not get the love as compared to the 785s and 745s?
  9. mcc plus4 - 2 wraps of tape. clubs stored in the house (and not in the car truck) so the rubber stays tacky for a while - don't even play with a glove.
  10. How do the 701s compare to the 745s or 765s then?
  11. I'd even suggest that the extra sets / drivers / putters are biasing your opinion. Just take what you think performs the best and leave the rest. This allows the fitter make suggestions as to what else to try. Make sure you go in with an open mind. You may find that the club you didn't think of going into the session wouldn't work, does work in the end. Then - after you go through the process and this might not be a fair apples to apples comparison, you'll end up with data on the results of your fitting. If the clubs that you didn't bring to the fitting result in better numbers from testing at home / or at other simulators / or at the course... you'll know what to play.
  12. Anything come to mind that the 701s and 701 tours come close to in the last 2 years or so?
