  1. Starting early preparations on a golf trip next year to Southern California. Trip is usually 5 days. And most days are 36 holes. Ideally I’d like to start the trip in Palm Springs and play PGA West, with the trip finishing in Los Angeles area at Rustic Canyon. Thoughts on great places to play along the way to LA from Palm Springs.
  2. Staying 1 more Day. 2 additional courses needed. Thoughts on ... Camelback Ambiente Whirlwind Verrado Mountain Shadows
  3. Coming in mid January, Talking Stick (O'odham) We-Ko-Pa (Segura) We-Ko-Pa (Cholla) Papago SunRidge Canyon Southern Dunes
  4. Heading to Austin next month with my wife and managed to get the go ahead for 2 rounds. Ideally I'd like to play the Barton Creek resort courses but would rather not pay $300/night for a room just to play the Fazio Canyons course. Any other must plays? A round in San Antonio could also be in the cards.
  5. Besides Royal New Kent, what others in the area could make up a 3 course golf trip?
  6. Didn't like the Glide 3.0 as much as my Glide 2.0 Stealth
  7. Quick little 3 day trip has turned into these 4 beauties. Cant wait! * The Loop * Forest Dunes * Arcadia Bluffs * Kingsley Club
  8. It needs to be Lawsonia and Erin Hills. Don’t sleep on Lawsonia.
  9. It isn’t perfect if you don’t play Lawsonia
  10. Is a golf trip that incorporates both Arcadia courses and Forest Dunes courses feasible? Kingsley Club could be in play also
  11. Playing Mid Pines on 2/22 also. PN in the morning and MP in the afternoon.
  12. I'd look at adding #8 or #9 to your list. Dormie is overpriced due to its Coore & Crenshaw hype. A couple good holes but wasn't the biggest fan when I played it last August. Also have heard decent things about Talamore. Heading down President's Day weekend with friends and playing #2, #4, and #8. Played #9 twice last August and enjoyed it. It's a Jack Nicklaus signature course (a lot of dogleg rights). I think both #8 and #9 would depend on the price you can get vs. Dormie @ $175. I think Talamore is usually around $100. We finalized our trip, heading down in 2 weeks. Feb 21 - PM

  14. Heading to Pinehurst at the end of February for the 2nd straight year. We are playing #2, #4, Tobacco Road and Mid Pines. Need 1 more for an early time. Pine Needles isn’t available and Dormie is $175. Which courses are next in line?
