  1. Got my buffalo headcover on my driver and then the OEM headcover on my 3 and 4 hybrids
  2. I have been searching everywhere for the cover Stenson used in the Open this weekend. This is the best pic I could find, it matched the driver and wood covers and had a lighthouse on it. Anyone have any idea? Thanks
  3. Going on 4 years now. I finally found a semi-forgiving set that also feel like blades. They aren't going anywhere.
  4. I use the Powerbeats 3. I also use them to work out, and wear them for 2 hours in the gym and barely notice they are there. I recently started listening to music on the range and on the chipping green, and find these to be the best.
  5. I agree! I called out a guy who was dropping "f" bombs at the range left and right and there were a bunch of kids around. After I spoke to him the guy huffed, picked up his clubs and left. The parents thanked me. I was wondering why one of them didn't say anything. But thats the problem. My generation is ball-less. We were raised not to take action, but to be "bystanders" and "non-tattle tails". Its sad because it rears it's ugly head in cases like this; a sport/tradition that has been a gentleman's game for generations. It's like when I had the spouse of a really young (maybe 23/24) members of the club I work at ask me "why couldn't I be served in the men's grill?". Cause the talk that goes on in there is not appropriate for young kids and women. But thats okay, guys have a to be guys...and theres a place for that. We are now so accustomed to exposing women/young children to inappropriate talk that it is just a "thing". Wow, sorry i've gone way off topic...but honestly a rant that i could repeat over and over if i wanted.
  6. It was awful yesterday. I had to spend an hour listening to a group of guys who definitely peaked in college loudly discuss his super detailed...lets say...adventures with a girl last weekend. It was probably one of the worst/cringe-worthy things i've heard in public in a while, especially with little kids around. Paired with yelling "Hey ___, can I have an orange" every time stepped on to the tee and then "YEAHHH ____, give 'em the business" after every tee shot". For what its worth, im currently a college student too.....i get it, but c'mon, golf is a game of dignity...try to treat it that way. Also, show some consideration for those around you who may not be interested in listening to that crap. The perpetrators/defenders of this behavior are singularly self-centered. Speaking from someone of my generation; the trend is getting really drunk and going to things like Belmont, US Open...anything really. Thats cool...did it for belmont and it was fun. But knowing how to handling yourself when drinking is a life skill imo. Sure, it's funny when you are still in high school, but no one wants to put up with it past then. I cannot tell you the number of stumbling morons i saw yesterday....annnd the amount of people chanting on the train as if we were pulling up to a high profile football game or something. It was kinda funny seeing this pulling up to a golf tournament; the worlds calmest and most quiet sport.

  8. So I obviously have my set of gamers and am working on creating a backup bag. But my question for everyone is what do they do with, and how do they organize all the clubs that aren’t in their main bag?
  9. Got a code the other day when i bought a driver. First good standing member to comment will get it!
  10. I was playing a pretty hilly course in CA, and hit my 3 rescue 230 yards out of the sand uphill about 2ft from the pin. Quite poasibly one of my favorite shots ever.
  11. I bought a set to put on my irons for when the clubs go in the travel case and onto the airplane. But they are immediately taken off before I get anywhere near the course.
  12. I couldn't imagine doing this honestly. I often play alone and get put in a group. I enjoy this. I've met a lot of nice people like this. It's a part of life, and golf.
  13. 1. No more flat-brim puma hats, or cargo shorts, for that matter. This is not a ribs cookout, this is not a skatepark. It's a golf course, dress like it. (Yes, even you, Obama). 2. Others said the same thing, but some kind of etiquette test in order to play USGA governed courses.
