  1. A Fresh new look for my old girl.
  2. Some decent points coming across in the thread. I'm guessing most people own an older model scotty that they like to roll from time to time ??. I have never even seen a byron Morgan putter here in Scotland so I can't comment on them. But we all no most derived from the anser style putter from ping. And now the mallets are really modelled after TMs spider putter.
  3. I wish they would use a single cherry bomb on the left next to titleist script. Great look I think. But the 3 are just boring at this point.
  4. Love your Mid Sur , the heavy head must feel great. Might look at picking 1 up so I can play it at 33" without having to add tape. The newest one I gamed was a studio style a long time ago. But went back to my circa 62 no1. Think it will be going back in the bag for next season. A new paintfill and scotty grip and it will be good to go.
  5. Yeh its such a shame, to be honest I don't even mind a little patina, one of my circas is completely bronzed put , no surface rust just colour. They don't do back oxide, pro platinums or oil can anymore I don't think. Shame really. Only tour department for that.
  6. I couldn't agree more , there is just something about those line of putters. So much more appealing to my eye.
  7. Hi All Anyone feel that all the OTR Scotty Camerons these days are just Boring. I'm fed up seeing all the same Stainless putter releases. Just glad he has moved away from the inserts. Would anyone love to see a Legacy range. Like some Pro platinums. More oil can designs, black oxides. My personal Favourite was the Circa 62 No1. I'm going to break mine out and think I will have it refinished.

  9. I really enjoyed them , but when I started playing for competitive again and practicing more I was hitting them very very high, but they are still very very good irons. Just prefer the iblades tho.
  10. Yeh really happy with my set up at the moment. Just my 5 wood is a bit spinny but the 410 Lst should help with that. Cruden was excellent, back up next season to play there and Trumps will be an excellent trip..
  11. Here's a few shots from my latest adventure Cruden Bay in Aberdeenshire Scotland.
  12. Welcome to my WITBI have switched things up this year a few old faithfulls back in the bag.Driver: Ping G425 Max 8* , Ping Tour 6x 45"5wood: Ping G400 16.5*, Ping Tour 7x 42" this might be getting replaced soon with a g410 lst 16* , Graphite Design AD-VR 3hybrid: Ping G20 20* , Ping TFC tour3hybrid: Ping G20 23*, Ping TFC tour5iron: Ping i200 , Aerotech Steelfiber i110cw S. 1* Flat6-pw: Ping i Blade , Aerotech Steelfiber i110cw S. 1* FlatWedges: Cleveland Zipcore 48*, 53* & 58* , Aerotech Steelfiber i95s. 1*FlatPutter: Seemore Original FGP 33.5"Grips: Lamkin UTX Driver-HybridsLamkin Crossline Cord irons & wedgesBall: Vice Pro Plus (white & Neon yellow)I started the Season with the Sim Max driver but the Ping g425 was just Flat bullets. Also took my 2 iron & 4 iron out and put my g20s back in the bag, Member of an inland course now so don't need stinging bullets as much as high floaters now. they are just so easy to hit.Had a tour van experience with Srixon/ Cleveland to get my wedges built and also add the 48 degree into the mix , makes such a massive difference for me. I play my irons power spec to bring my flight down. So PW was 45*. Had a putter fitting for my new Seemore. Really opened my eyes for my stroke. SAM putt lab is fantastic. Thanks for having a look.
  13. Yeh I think I might change all my grips to the sonar tour next season. I tried one a little while ago and really liked it. Thanks for your comments guys.
  14. Hi folks Well as the title states, I want to see what everyone has on there wedges. Is it the same as your set or different. Do you like a firm feeling grip for pitches and chips or do you like soft. I've tried everything I find the multi compound plus 4 a little too soft, was playing the lamkin REL 3 gen. But struggle to get them. My new wedges have Lamkin crossline cord. I am liking the firmer feel and feedback they give me. But feel they can be harsh on my hands as I practice alot with my wedges. Have Lamkin UTX on woods. Lamkin REL 3 gen on my irons(last set) Lamkin crossline fullcord in wedges Cheers.
  15. I go 2* flatter than my irons , its because alot of shots I play are with low hands so I don't want to feel im healing and want the sole to be flatter on the ground not toe up. Also I play shots where I stant the handle and nip it off the toe with the heal off the ground to take Bounce off. I like to be very flat on the swing with my pitches aswell . Just why I do it some people might have different reasons.
