  1. Hey All, I've never played a ball that flies straighter than Srixon XV. It's amazing. I didn't think anything could knock Bridgestone out of favor but Srixon did after 2 extraordinary rounds of accurate tee shots. FYI: Custom Edel arriving this week...
  2. Once I post my review of new Edel putter sales will go through the roof.
  3. With his physical presence and imperious ball striking it is easy to overlook his short game, but from my 35 years of following golf Normans short game is in the top handful, and he maintained it for a very long time. You don't spend 331 weeks at wno without having a stellar short game. Only short games better were Tiger and Seve when he was on imo, and only tiger maintained it for longer. 1991 at Crooked Stick. I spent a few hours watching the Shark giving short game tips to JM Olazabal. Nothing crazy about that other than Seve was right there with him....and he was watching, listening a
  4. We play the tips every course here in Central Florida. During the rain season (like this past week) courses become very very long. Longer than hard, fast PGA Tour setup. I've found that taking less risk off the tee and playing for center of fairway (not risking forced carries) has helped take pressure off my game and kept me out of trouble. May not birdie as many of the longest par 4's and 5's but probably wouldn't have birdied anyway. Course management makes up for any loss of distance, whether from old age, not flexible, having aches and pains or all the above.
  5. Easy question to answer: Only thought was where I wanted the ball to go. Easy to thought to comprehend but difficult to do...
  6. No doubt. As Forged knows, ask any legit tour player from the 80's to 90's and they'll tell you Norman was a freak of nature striking the ball (had an amazing chipping game too). Few of the early senior tour players here in central FL all say he was something to see. - He oddly swung the persimmon driver off-balance, and then quickly recovered to perfect balance on the follow through/finish. Very explosive power through the ball. - Horrible short wedge player (couldn't control spin) - Streaky to great putter (similar to Mickelson)
  7. A bit harsh lol No harsher than he was with two different employees, one a male locker room attendant, the other a female beverage/food server. From what I witnessed first hand, and I'm not even getting into his conduct on the course with fans and Two different Class A Assts(both Great Guys) at a small elite field event at the Frank Fuhrer Invitaional, in my eyes, he's THE BIGGEST DBAG I've ever had the misfortune to encounter in 48+ years on a golf course and one of only two Tour Boys to be disinvited by Mr. Fuhrer. Haha, now THAT'S harsh Sometimes reality sucks, as do tho

  9. Such a trap thread. Not going near it!
  10. Just fit for Edel E-1. Very impressed. They're building it now.
