  2. Went through an Edel fitting at Club Champion. Was very interesting seeing the effects of the different head shapes and alignment options on your aim. Then the weight portion of the fitting (which took place on the very smooth/fast carpet in the hitting bay rather than on their putting green) seemed to have no bearing on reality unless you played on extremely fast greens. I liked the look of the putter and I felt that I could aim it very well, but with all the back weighting, I couldn't control speed at all. I went back (free of charge) to the CC and had them adjust the weights twice with still no good results. I think that I actually ended up with the heaviest head weight and the lightest grip weight they had, but it still made no difference for me. Eventually, I lost all confidence in the putter and it was sold. Overall, I think it's a good process, but could be better and I'm sure their products work for the right folks, but just not for me.
  3. ordered a lefty 410 lst driver through 2ndswing in late June. Haven't received it yet. Was told they didn't have the shaft i ordered (stock tensei orange 70x) so i switched to the tour 75x. still no luck. was told last week that it would be in the next batch of builds when they get supplies in. sounds like the shafts are the hold up, not the club heads themselves (for drivers anyways)
  4. Can't speak for the cabins as I used to live in Cheraw. Played the course a lot. Very good shape, very nice course. Course is very hard to beat for the money. Tees are spaced out enough to test your game (right at 7,000 yards from the back). Laid out well, only a few holes run parallel with plenty of pines between the holes that do run side by side. Can get crowded on the weekends. I used to always play early. Will be extremely hot in August.
  5. Taylormade Sim Max D 9 degree head only. Will ship with matching headcover. Used ~10 rounds with little range time. Only trade interests would be a regular sim head 9 degree. $300 $275 obo shipped in conus SG Calc sanitized.xls

  7. 4 -pw set of mizuno 919 forged. Pured Kbs Black flt stiff shafts. These were built by true spec golf. The puring process is why the labels are all over the place. I believe they are 1/2” long and, 1-2 upright, two strong. I’ll upload the specs As built by true spec as well. Shot the best round of my life with these irons. Buying a new house so need the money right now. Only thing that would tempt me is a forged set of irons with modus 120x shafts 1/2”-1” long. $850 $750 $700 obo
  8. full disclosure I got this as part of the tgw deal. I’m offering it for sale at my cost plus a little for shipping and PayPal fees. Not trying to turn a quick profit, just passing along the opportunity for someone else as I am liking my 5 wood at this moment. if this isn’t cool then I’ll gladly move along... Sim Max 19 degree hybrid with 85g ad di x flex with gray tour velvet 360 grip. I hit maybe 20 balls off a mat with it, just really liking my 5 wood at this moment. Really a solid club. In the process of buying a house so I need cash on hand, so no trades at this time. $SOLD!!! shipped conus (again just covering my costs plus shipping and fees)
  9. For sale is a 4-pw set of mizuno mp 68 heads. They have the typical bumps and bruises of forged heads. Nothing that will affect play. 7, 8, 9 and pw have some slight browning. Plenty of life left. I think these are a degree or two upright and a degree or two strong. Easily bendable though. Pictures tell the story. There is a slight amount of lead tape residue on the back of some of the heads. My second time owning a set of these and I’ll probably end up with another set at some point. Right now the srixon 785s are checking all the boxes. $175 $150 obo shipped in conus. No trades at this moment
