  1. Has anyone changed their gapping from (7-A) to get them closer to 4°? Debating on changing the approach wedge to 49° and the 9i to 41°. That would leave me with.. 4 - 21° 5 - 23.5° 6 - 26.5° 7 - 30.5° 8 - 35° 9 - 40° (Bent to 41) P - 45° A - 50° (Bent to 49)
  2. This is also an option. I told him if he wanted then then he could get them for what I bought them form.. he is asking his wife today lol. Are they Dynamic Gold S300 and PX 5.5 or 6.0 similar in shafts? I may have a deal with someone to grab a set of the H5s with the DG S300 in them.
  3. Sometimes with lighter shafts people can "flip" the club before impact, causing a slight upward impact rather than a negative angle of attack. Especially if you describe yourself as a "sweeper" rather than a "digger". A lot of sweepers tend to play the ball a little more forward in their stance and do not achieve much shaft lean in their swing. Shaft lean when done properly can help with creating lag, whereas "flipping" can sometimes be sign of early casting of the club which can be a huge swing speed killer. It is possible that a heavier shaft might reduce the ability to "flip" the club at

  5. So I need to give the KBS CTaper a try and what would you recommend for a R+ shaft? ProjectX 5.5? I agree try and find a place that has a demo cart where you can hopefully try the same head with different shafts. The PX line is a very lowish flight and spin. Also the C-Taper is KBS version of PX (the guy designed C-Taper developed the PX line). What XP95 flex are you playing. True Temper says the XP95 is made for a "deliberate" swing tempo, and is made to go high and spin high too. I'm playing a stiff true temper XP95, previously had PX 5.5, I'm thinking either PX 6.0 or C Taper is whe

  7. I'm not a player that can work the ball, all I need is a MP line that can get me distance. I want to be able to play MPs so bad just because of the beauty of them. I need a MP line that can give me max distance & some forgiveness. I've heard MP H5s and MP 25s.
  8. So I just let me cousin hit them on the range to test them to see if it was just me or the actual shaft. He actually gained 10yds from his Titliest CBs that he games. He is an amazing ball striker though and takes a nice divot each swing and I am a sweeper, I'm not sure if that has any affect on me losing yardage and him gaining yardage or not? His trajectory with the irons was very nice and like I said previously, mine is going quite high which is where I believe I'm losing my yardage.
  9. Ok, just got my JPX 900F in the other day with True Temper XP95 shafts, previous set was Titleist 716 TMBs with Project X 5.5 shafts. I have played about 4 rounds with my 900s and I am hitting ridiculous high moonballs and losing aprx 10-15yds per iron. My swing speed is anywhere between 86-89, please somebody give me some advice to help fix this shaft issue and loss of yardage. Is the 5.5 project X and XP95 that big of a difference? I was suggested to use the KBS Tour, C Taper Lite or Dynamic Gold 130s by a fitter a few weeks ago but I found a deal on EBay. Thanks for any advice.
  10. I have done both. I dont see a tremendous difference, but buying new sets each time to get fitted is costly. If money isn't a issue, of course you'd get fitted everytime. Has anyone bought standard off the rack and get the same results as your fitted clubs?
  11. just to add to the confusion i would like to add the MP 5 to your mix. I recently (about a month ago) put a set of MP 5 in the bag and am loving them. Mine have the KBS tour 120 S shaft, while the head debate is good the shaft that drives it will be the deciding factor. The channel back MP 5 is forgiving and long for me, try them with that shaft and see if you don't agree. My previous set were Taylor Made 2014 blades with the KBS 105 S shafts. With the Taylors I played my PW to about 105 with a smooth swing and out to about 115 going after it a bit. the MP 5 PW i play to 115 with
  12. Wow neither one of those look chunky! They actually look rather slim in the pictures with the h5 looking a little longer head to toe. Thank you for the pictures brotha!
  13. I've got both sets and the H5's are in my bag right now. They both look great, the H5's win on distance, yet launch a bit higher. You cant go wrong really with either set man. The only thing I changed, was took out the P-8 H5 and replaced it with MP18 MMCs.Every other iron is still H5 in my bag. The forgiveness is hard to beat as well... Great choices for sure! Lol you were suppose to make my decision easier man! How much longer are the H5s to the 25s and other sets you have gamed? Have you ever hit the 900F, are they close in distance to those? LOL, sorry bro, they are both good, but
