  1. You didn’t say that in your first message. If you are local, then I guess you could try. I’d be curious as to why they had a bunch so cheap. Either way, I stand by my first post. Maybe you’ll get a good deal though,
  2. They will definitely replace it. Call soon though as Black Friday is coming and they usually have big sales that clear a lot of inventory this week. Better chance of getting an exact replacement if that’s what you want.
  3. If the price is too good to be true... scammers are all over with Skytrak and GC2. Ask tons of questions, very odd for one person to have a bunch of the same units.
  4. That’s an excellent price. Glws. it’s also worth mentioning that the unit can be unlocked/upgraded through Flightscope to an Xi Tour to include all of the tour club data points.
  5. 1. City and State? Allentown, PA 2. Handicap? 12-14ish 3. Where do you practice? At home with a GC Quad 4. Have you used a personal launch monitor before? Yes, many 5. Do you have a current iOS device to use with the Ernest software? Yes 6. Do you agree to take high quality photos, write an in-depth review, and be part of an on-going testing thread? Absolutely
  6. You both pay each other via PayPal goods and services (just as if you were purchasing the item outright). There is zero protection otherwise. If you know the person it’s a different story.
  7. Unfortunately that’s the case. The days of everyone being cordial are gone. It used to be a pretty positive set of forums...last few years have seen more and more of the “I just want an internet argument” type responses. This isn’t directed at the one response here...but I’ll say that it doesn’t drive me to frequent the site like I did years ago.
  8. I think that much of that comes from the history around these. Golfers want to find the deals. In early days, it was a good community using the FB group or Groupme texts to share deals with other fellow golfers. Now that the true flippers know the value of some of these, they pick them up right away and it’s tougher for golfers to find them in the stores. You now get golfers buying up what they see and either selling at cost+shipping (some adding an extra $10-20 on), some trying to profit and sell the expensive ones to fund the purchase of a pair in their size from other flippers, and those that are solely trying to make as much as they can. I’ll still pick some up like this and offer them up to family, friends and golfing buddies, or pass them on via FB groups. They’ll go back to the store if someone doesn’t want them. Everyone has their own opinions on what is OK and like everything in this world, they’ll shape it so it justifies their actions. I’m sure we’ve all done it.
  9. Randomly stopped by a Ross yesterday and found the Winged Foot and figured I’d try the local Burlington this AM and they had a bunch. Eastern PA.

  11. It’s still there but it’s one of those things that you have to have people willing to pass things on. Few people were willing to do it at cost, so there was a small profit allowed but still cheaper than ebay. The key is really to have people buy up whatever they see and be willing to share it. I personally don’t mind paying an extra $30 (or more depending on the shoe) to someone from a group like this vs eBay flippers.
