  2. Thanks @TheDeanAbides I hadn't noticed that move back until you pointed it out. Makes sense that if I am getting too deep before the takeaway starts, then I'll have nowhere to go. I'll try to standup and keep the weight over the balls of my feet throughout.

  4. Hey guys, I have noticed a lot of better players around here struggle with early extension and I'm definitely in the same boat. I'm a 34 year old former competitive junior player who — after barely playing in my 20s — is finally able to practice and play regularly. I am down to a 0.3 handicap, but have struggled with a flip release with my club getting too far inside. When my timing is on I can get it around well enough to play to scratch but my game doesn't travel and I feel like I'm always on the razors edge of a snap hook or mega right-of-right block.
