Jody Vasquez in his book Afternoons with Mr Hogan tells the same type of story. I guess there was a gang businessmen that would play a pretty high stake game at the club. And every once in awhile Hogan would play. So one day there was a out of towner playing. He was in Hogans foursome. He didn't ask Hogan what he hit (their balls where within feet of each other) he just looked in the bag. I guess Hogan hated that so he dropped another ball (first was 150yd 7) grabbed a 6 and put it 2ft closer then drooped another grabbed the 8 and knocked it stiff and just walked away.

Every time i think i'm out they suck me right back in. Will never play any other "game improvement" club. Besides stronger lofts on the irons nothing new out there.

He and those of his age up to around 25 or 30 are constantly looking for a “ hack” as they call it. Which is code for a lazy way out. I rail against it everyday. Their hacks generally take twice as long once you take the time to do it over the right way. Depends

"The shoulders should rotate at a 90 degree angle to the spine, this angle is set at address." Once I figured this out through trial and error it all came together -
Read it and I guess I'm just not bright enough to put it all together. If you read it and actually figured out a swing from it you're a better man then me lol

Sex, booze and meat. -
I stumble on the same thing in one of Butch's videos where he says make sure the club head starts the swing not the hands, shoulder or any thing else. This drill is the same thing and will definitely accomplish the same thing. I will be using it religiously. As a side note I have said this before but thank you speedster my game has improved at an unbelievable pace thanks to this thread and the JB thread.

Make sure your daughter or son is having fun...
gsea33 replied to DavePelz4's topic in Instruction & Academy
Guy's an ass swipe no question. Son is 12 been playing since 7. Never said word one to him actually played with a baseball grip till is first year at golf camp and "Coach " showed him an overlap grip. Just hit it and find it. He now can really play all while having fun. "Teacher leave us kids alone". Dads like this need a life. P.S. Was a coach for basketball from CYO to D2 could write a book about the ass wipe parents. Girl's parents are the worst trust me. -
Change chip/pitch trajectory by changing clubs or ball position?
gsea33 replied to barnum1's topic in Instruction & Academy
Annika Sorenstam said Tiger told her to pick one club to use around the green and learn all the shots with it and thats what she did. Fore me I use a 54 deg wedge for 90% of my shots -
> @jplroper said: > I've got the eye 2's in the bag again. 3-sw zz-lite shafts. They just seem to head toward the target. I haven't found a more forgiving accurate iron. They might not have the same distance as the lower lofted irons of today but just as forgiving. I have done a few demo days with the 800$+ irons and nothing is better just longer for the same iron. Using a higher number club does have it advantages against those look in the bag folks looking to be clubed lol.

As a sidebar I widen my stance per your advice, keep the club more in front as you advised. Working out well. The reason I ask about the grip is because I found with the new wide stance etc a little strong left hand position and a weak right hand position really helps for me. Definitely keeps my backswing from getting flat. I also still use the glove for practice which helps tremendously. The RA2 is tempting lol. > > Get the Right Angle 2, it

Is 120-140 too high a score to be on a public course?

If you really are struggling on a hole just pick up. U will be more respected for that then dragging on.
