  1. Are there any drills to work on not getting the right shoulder to work underneath so much? At impact my right shoulder is a foot below my left and shoulders are parallel to the target. Is this a just do it but don’t over do it kind of thing or is there any way to really work on it? Thanks all.
  2. my college is south east Arkansas but I’m from northwest Arkansas, I can travel anywhere need be but I just need someone who is reliable with their information
  3. low 74, average closer in between 77-78 because of a few rounds I threw up after the lay off edit: also thought I should add we were short on tournaments this year because we lost our coach, also added to the reason for the lay-off And what's your lowest tournament round ever? my lowest tournament round was 69 when I played junior state wide tournaments What are your expectations? You are currently averaging 77 - 78. Where would you LIKE to be? And what kind of courses are you playing? What's the rating and slope of most of them? Are they all over the map? One thing I see young kids stru
  4. Been dabbling with it lately, was putting conventionally with more of a pop stroke. Accuracy from 15 feet or less is unbelievable, still not the greatest with speed control

  8. that’s a really good idea thank you very much, does anyone know the price for an online Monte lesson or if he does them? I haven’t looked into not sure how to. Thanks guys
  9. All about match ups for the most part guy, but I guess there’s no good golfers that lay the club off. Not Daniel nor Sergio thanks for the feedback though
  10. Thanks Monte, I just don’t know who I can trust to get the right information from. I live in Arkansas and I’m just afraid the instructors here maybe aren’t as qualified as else where, but I could be wrong. Edit: I’d also like to say I’m not worried about the cost of a lessons, I just don’t want to have to drive hours away from school just to get a lesson.
  11. I’m not trying to toot my own horn by any means because I took a couple week layoff which is a lot if you play college golf but it just didn’t fit in the schedule. Last time I had played I qualified for the tournament with a few low 70 rounds. Came back to qualify for a tournament last week and played awful the first day, took a look at my swing on video and some of the positions in my mind look amazing. P2 maybe slightly inside but roughly around the hands club goes up through the forearm, back down through forearm and hands, and then just horribly toe hooked. I don’t get it, it’s so frustrat
  12. correct me if I’m totally off here but to me if hand path work more out in transition and if I was to keep turning the club nearer impact would want to work more left.
  13. the guy is a literal genius no way to copy him (for me at least) without having his intelligence + talent You're kidding, right? His mental prowess as a math/science whiz (which may or may not be genius-level) has nothing to do with his golf swing and the fact that he uses a set of (mostly) same-length clubs. Anybody can try to emulate that swing -- and many people would probably have solid results by incorporating some/most/all of what he does. Some would hate it, of course. I believe you skipped over the “(for me at least)” it may work for a lot of people but too much thinking and wo
  14. yeah I thought the hands were too high but I have EXTREMELY long arms and that feels comfortable (doesn’t at all mean correct), and when I try to feel a little deeper in the backswing it just feels like I’m gonna have to stuck flip hook it and I don’t know how to combat that feeling.
  15. wish I had a trackman to get on, when you’re from small town Arkansas playing D2 golf it’s not the easiest feat yeah I know it doesn’t make sense but no idea how to change it, sorry about that
