  1. When the SIM came out I didn’t like the look. It was in my bag by mid-season. When the SIM 2 came out I didn’t like the look of the blue aluminum ring. It was in my bag by mid-season. With all that said…I really don’t like the look of this one…
  2. It took me a long time to learn this lesson but it's better to have a club considered to be a GI iron in your bag than a club with better "bag appeal" that you don't hit as well. I had been chasing after that illusive forgiving player's iron for years until I finally got a fitting and got something in the "player's distance" category. I'd rather be the one taking my playing partner's cash after the round than be the subject of bag envy before the round.
  3. 1. City, State? Sacramento, CA 2. Handicap? 7.1 3. What is your current putter? Evnroll ER2 4. Have you ever used a L.A.B. Golf putter? No 5. Why do you want to review the MEAZZ.1 putter? My putter has been a weakness in my game for the last couple months and getting to the point where I can hole 4-10 foot putts more consistently will help me take my game to the next level. I have a couple friends that play different versions of the LAB putter and they have told me the switch has completely transformed their putting. In my last putter fitting I was curious about the current LAB offerings but none of the heads fit the recommended head shape (fitting machine recommended a fang or squareback). The MEAZZ.1 is a shape that is more suitable to my stroke type and set-up so I think the MEAZZ.1 would be a great fit. 6. Do you agree to participate in an ongoing testing thread, posting reviews and photos? I agree
  4. Looked like a great trip, thanks for the breakdowns! Just bought a full set of these this morning! Can’t wait to take them out this weekend.
  5. Definitely not my favorite golfer, and I think the feud with Brooks is going be really problematic for Ryder Cup chemistry. Calling out Cantlay for walking (when they were told they needed to pick up the pace a bit) and not shaking his hand after the playoff didn't do him any favors yesterday either. He has lots of admirable qualities, particularly how hard he works and his willingness to try new things to get better, but the way he reacts to bad breaks and the way he treats people is really off putting. Just in the last 18 months, he has yelled at a cameraman, argued with rules officials trying to get questionable breaks (ball out of bounds behind a fence, the fire ants as burrowing animals thing, etc.), called Brooks Koepka fat completely out of the blue, threw his equipment manufacturer under the bus at the Open, and now his antics at the BMW. Combine that with how he whines anytime he gets a bad roll or a bad break and it's tough to watch no matter how good he is. That being said, there's no way I won't root for him in the Ryder Cup.
  6. 1. Handicap? 7.5 2. Right or left hand golfer? Right 3. Current wedges and setup? Taylormade MG2 50, 56,60 4. Why do you want to be fit for TaylorMade MG3 wedges? I have never been fit for wedges and my around the green game is the category in which I consistently lose strokes. Getting fit would help me pick the right gapping and bounces. I absolutely love the look of the MG3. 5. Are you available to be on site 8/30/2021 through 9/1/2021? Yes 6. Will you be able to provide your own transportation to and from Reynolds Lake and East Lake Golf Club? Yes 7. Are you willing to post high quality photos in the forum, write an in depth review of the experience, and possibly be featured on GolfWRX or TaylorMade social media posts? Absolutely
  7. Oops, shafts are modus 120x... 210 would be quite the hefty shaft
  8. Just a couple items today. Fee free to PM with offers, please add $10 for east coast shipping. 1) Current Taylormade P770 4-PW with Nippon Modus 120 x-stiff and Lamkin midsize grips. Bought these on the BST and gamed them for a few months, the shaft didn’t quite work for me so here we are. Original owner said LLL were all standard, but I haven’t had those checked. $$SOLD$$. 2) Evnroll ER 1.5 34 in. - used on course once and carpet rolled. Putted ok but I e see up going back to my Spider. Asking $250 shipped.
  9. I finally bit the bullet and went in for a fitting. Clearing out some of the stuff from my old setup. All items will be sent UPS Ground to CONUS only. Please add $10 for shipping if on East Coast. 1) Ventus Black 6s w/ TM Tip & Golf Pride MCC+4 Grip measures 44" (played at 45" in my SIM). Picked up from another WRXer and just looking to get back what I spent. Not sure on tipping. $SOLD$ 2) Taylormade M6 w/ Evnflow Blue 6.0 shaft. All work was done at my club, and the pro tipped the shaft a half inch so it plays slightly stiffer than 6.0. Asking $125 shipped 3) Taylormade P790 UDI, Hzrdus Smoke 6.0. Ordered direct from Taylormade and gamed for a month or so. $SOLD$.
  10. I put the 1.0 on my Spider X and I absolutely love the feel. It is a bit of an adjustment size-wise, but I've had 2 of my best putting rounds in a long time with that grip.
  11. They’re definitely softer than the iblade. iblades are a bit more workable, I think they’re pretty comparable when it comes to distance controlI, but the 760 was a bit more forgiving. Overall I played a lot more consistently with the 760.
  12. Trademarks also need to be renewed periodically to remain active. Could be something, but could also be Taylormade protecting existing IP
  13. Standard LLL. I haven't had the lie angles checked recently, but they came standard from Taylormade
