  1. It's the news trend - golf fans always the last to catch up hehehe.
  2. Name one sport or Golfer you think would have excelled at to represent their current country at the Olympics? Rory weightlifting? Spieth Cycling? Day Swimming? Dustin Gymnastics? LMAO. I can name 100's Olympians who would I think have dominated the game if they took it up.
  3. Yep, those badmitten players train "1000x physically harder, are by superior mentally and compete at levels to represent their country at level no Golfer can dare to dream of". I also don't see how a golfer can stand shoulder to shoulder to a ping pong player and the equestrian riders. It takes a lot of physical stamina to ride a horse. Lol at thinking Badminton players are not fit? You make a big fool of yourself. No golfer can play at their pace. Very few sports men are fitter than badminton players. 58 year old man was beating up the the so called best players at the majors a few y
  4. So why did US and Euro PGA lobby for it to be only pro's when the IOC proposed having amateurs like Boxing? Oh let me guess to appease their corporate sponsors. Golf is all about corporate sponsors and money. And people say IOC is corrupt lol
  5. Lets really not kid ourselves Golf is not really a sport and is no way anywhere near the calibre of what sports men do at the Olympics. I admit I am pro Golf at the Olympics but the more I look at it the more I realise this must be the biggest joke of the Olympics. I feel that of all the sports Golf, along with Shooting, Archery should be dumped. The truth is any of the sports men and women competing at the Olympics would have been a world class golfer and surpassed many if not ALL of the current Golfers if took up the trained and game at the same age. However, NONE of the current or past Gol
  6. Golf is not a sport - so yes Rory is right in that regards - Golf does NOT MATTER. Lets see real sport men and leave Golf to the Ryder cup where the old men can look good.
  7. Okay good so lets get rid of Athletics Gymnastics Rowing Swimming Tennis And only have Boxing Sailing Shooting Fencing Archery Equestrian That will make a real fun Olympics to watch LMAO!!! Don't blame IOC, blame your Golf tours they had the option to make it an amateur event but the greedy pigs running golf tours wanted pro's to partake or no deal. Tennis, football, Rugby etc dont have amateurs events - golf much like boxing do, but like I said US and Euro pga lobbied for Pro's or nothing so they could bring Tiger et al. So funny how golf fans are gullible and just jump on the band
  8. 100% agree! Ryder cup is an exhibition event between a bunch of over paid pro's and has no bearing on the general pubic or country. less than .000001% of the population on either side of the pond give a damn about some pampered pro's from Europe and American playing an exhibit event that has no bearing on their country or a pro's record.

  10. Absolute rubbish. 2 events that are heavily biased to the US and Euro tour. And people wonder why many see golf fans as aloof and ignorant?
  11. Zika is now in Florida - will Rory quit playing these events or use this as a perfect excuse to quit playing two tournaments he performed badly in last year? Also, will he move residence too? Looking forward to his views on this as it 'matters'.
  12. Tiger is the first and only golfer to wear the same outfit red and black every Sunday. He also bought or MADE FAMOUS The twirl The stinger His personal TW logo The fist pump The upper cut The leg kick after a tee The finger point at the hole Juggling the ball The backward shuffle as tbe putt appraoches hole The hat slam Wow too many trade marks.;) No wonder I find these bunch stuffy, lifeless and boring. Phil jumped on the wagon and started to wear black and grey after he won his frist major wearing these colours. Rory brought the discuss club throw. (He atleast has a personality)
  13. I am going with Spieth Lost his number 1 spot and blew away the masters win and never really looked a threat in any of the other majors. His 2 wins were playing against the weakest fields and he missed multiple cuts and only made 7 top 10's. from 19 events. That's poor for someone who was touted by many to break Tigers records.
