Since it was my own build, I got cute and when I order the Apex irons, had them ordered: 5,6 iron - 2* upright 7,8,9 iron - 1* upright PW,AW - standard

Anyone game Apex's who can compare from similar types of clubs as my Mizuno's? IMO, i mean big IMO as I don't want to get the Mizuno fan boys upset but for me personally, I have never found Mizuno's to be forgiving compared to its competitors.

Believe it or not they are even more forgiving. Oh I believe it. The gen1 0311 irons are still the best feeling irons I’ve hit. Was sur

If your hitting across the entire face, you might need a game improvement club with a wider or longer toe to heel length to account for mishits. The Apex is on of the more compact GI clubs. Feel like I’m hitting the toe a bunch these days. Interesting advice regarding the longer heel to toe length. Oddly, Part of me feels Apex CF16’s were more forgiving than these Apex 19 irons.
  7. I got fit for Callaway Apex irons at CC. During the fitting, they felt incredible. Having built a set to the same specs that CC proposed, I’ve struggled to gain any consistency. Do you guys think Apex irons are forgiving for someone at my skill level? Don’t track a handicap but typically shoot 90-100. I recently tried Srixon z585 irons with modus 105 shafts and they felt really nice. Anyone here play these in the past? Can you comment on forgiveness? About the same? One more forgiving than the other? Thanks.
  8. My Ping G10 15* and 22* are still in the bag. Couldn’t resist though and ordered a Ping G410 17* hybrid to try.
  9. Can someone explain what the flat setting does? I understand when using irons and going to a flatter lie and its affect but I not so sure with driver. Thanks

  11. Have a Ping G10 15* hybrid in the bag but lately been thinking about picking up a Ping G410 17* hybrid. I don't carry a FW so second shot on long Par 5's, I go to the 15* hybrid. I may be giving up distance compared to a FW but just can't hit a FW consistently.
  12. man, really on the fence about purchasing one. At first, had no interest given that it didn't give spin numbers but then I thought, heck, if at the range, you can see which way the ball is going anyways. Is the GPS function better on the G80 vs. the G8? Right now, G80 can be had for $400 while the G8 can be had for $250.

  14. I'm actually going through a similar process with my G410 LST. Cut it down to 44" and trying to get SW back up. Been experimenting by wrapping lead tape on the shaft right where the adapter ends. Once I find a good SW, I plan to order a heavier weight. For what it's worth, I absolutely hated the Tensei Pro Orange. For my swing, the Tensei Pro White was a much better fit. Interestingly, I've had great success with AD-DI but needed lower launch and spin. I also love the HZRDUS Yellow which I hear is counterbalanced like the Orange but to me, the Yellow was much more stable. The Orange was

Nevermind fellas. Looks like my scale wasn’t accurate. Used another scale and get 12.4 but minus .1 as the scale starts at .1.
  16. Mine is stamped 12 but only weights 10 grams. Anyone else run into this?
