  1. yeah that was a bit of a concern too (4H and 6i gap) i but hitting yesterday seems great with the addition of the 5H which fit perfectly between the 4H & 6i. also i found a wonderful 60* wedge - cleveland tour action that i threw in. all smiles here. Thanks for the wisdom. cheers nd be safe.
  2. today i added a 60* making it a 14stick bag. replaced my 5i with a hybrid. all felt great on the range. waiting to game em.
  3. Greetings all. hope all is well in this world of the new normal. i just wanted to ask for advice regarding my current set up. i gaming a single length set. been playing SL for about 8 years now maybe more. i was just thinking of going down to 12 clubs. i have a 14 club bag as of now. [email protected]* [email protected]* 917fw + 1degree 3hybrid 20* 4hybrid 23* (or maybe 22*) not sure, but works like magic 5i 27* (thinking of dropping this) - i dont feel like i use it enough, or even can hit it consistently to its yardage. My 4Hybrid can do the job. 6i 31* bend to 32* 7i
  4. greetings gents. hope all is well and good. i just wanted to pick your brain, coming from the covid lock-down and having gamed new irons i feel i have lost about 10-12 yards. that be it im hitting range balls. now, how much does a typical range ball, one that is not as crunchy, shiny, poppy and smiley as a new one flys cheers thanks for the advice

  6. looks really great. love the raw look and the simplicity/cleanliness of the irons.
  7. i have. been doing it for about 8 years now. Go for it. good luck cheers
  8. go with Cobra, i think they have the money, technology & latest data that makes them improve their "one irons". that being said i really like Edels. theres always Wishons-Sterling irons. its really up to you. me myself i just grinded my own irons/wedges to my specs to make my SL irons. cheers and good luck
  9. greetings, hope all is well. i.ve been playing since 6-7th grade im now 36. but for the last 9 years about i made the switch to SL and never looked back. i have looked at every angle, problem, facts, adjustments etc to do with SL irons and can say, at least for me its the best thing. im actually to the point where i grind down my own heads (irons/wedges) to my specs. so if you ask me GO FOR IT !!!! and HAVE FUN !!!!
  10. its doing well. been using them for about 4 weeks and its all systems go. have a small gapping issue with the 5 iron which i think will come back soon - not hitting the right distance. that being said i just started up about 4 weeks since - 9 months covid19 lock-down (thats when i made the irons/wedges) , so im optimistic. (also made some swing changes) which all turned out for the better.
  11. i think its best to just wait. there isnt any significant innovations with the new models from what i have seen. but thats just me though in any case just follow your heart always. cheers Ally
  12. grinded the heads down to 230 grams. all the way to the wedges.
