  1. Everything in my WITB aside from the putter and irons. See sig.
  2. Currently loving my RTX3's... If you're into a heavier feeling wedge, they're really nicely weighted IMO. They also offer a ton of control from 15 yards and in for me which I haven't ever really had - my putting has benefited from that as well. They're also one of the cheapest options, coming in at about $130/wedge.
  3. You can never go wrong with Adams Tight Lies II. Good looking hybrids, smaller profile than most, and they're pretty cheap (~ $40). Check out my WITB link in my sig if you're interested.
  4. I can't really narrow it down to a single thing, but it's been me putting a couple of things in the works. Specifically... 1) Technique - I've really tried to keep my head steady in the backswing, and my hands a little bit lower in the setup by putting the club more in the base of the fingers of my left hand. 2) Putting/Chipping - I think I finally have the perfect grip for my putter. I was using the Superstroke fatso 5.0, and I had no feel from anywhere. The mid-slim 3.0 I have now is just money. Also, my new Cleveland wedges are just giving me so much confidence. 3) Mentality - I car

  7. Today, I shot a 91! I'm really pleased with today's round. I had a 15-20 yard chip in for birdie, 3 pars, and a total of 30 putts (1.67 putts/hole). My only gripe is with hole #18 (par 5)... I carded a quadruple bogey. It really is crazy to know I could have broke 90 today, so I can't really beat myself up about it. I guess now is a good time to give an update about my recent 6h acquisition - it rocked. I can't believe it was that easy to hit. Don't see that being replaced any time soon. Anyway, just thought I'd share.
  8. Make sure and check out Callaway pre-owned on eBay. Got my aeroburner there for $85 with free shipping - custom shaft length + swing weight adjustment was included in that price. The driver had a tiny nick or two on the face when it came in the mail. Other than that, I could barely tell it was in "used" condition. I would highly recommend Callaway pre-owned.
  9. I used to hate hybrids to be honest but as I've wrapped my head around it and got past the mental block i had on them its an option now. I never had issues with long irons and frankly my 4 iron AP2 was my favorite in the bag.. I've switched to the i200 pings which I like quite a bit but there is more offset in the 4 (and even 5 but not as bad) than what I'm used to as Ive played blades my whole life. I started hitting this 4 hybrid at work this week and I'm like wow, I kinda dig the balls flight and I don't have to work nearly as hard as the 4 iron. I used to fight the high sling hook wth hybr
  10. It doesn't bother me all too much now. It was a little interesting to get used to at first, but it's grown on me.
  11. Similar to that story, last week I played one of the better rounds I've ever played - I had only a few duffs/bad judgments. On hole 13 I had about 172 yards to the hole, slightly uphill - made it about 175 yards. Because I'm not confident with the 6i (the green was in a tight location), I elected to go with a choked-up 5h. BEAUTIFUL strike - but it sailed over the green for probably 180-185 yards. I thought to myself, damn... If I could get that kind of feel from a higher lofted hybrid, I could really give a hoot about how I look doing it. I'm excited for the change. I'll definitely let y'a
  12. No ego here. I just want my ball to go in the cup in fewer strokes - no matter what it looks like. :golfer: A 6 hybrid it is!
  13. I'm trying to find an Adam's red 6 hybrid, but I can't seem to locate one. Good to know though! I think it'll help my game out a lot.
  14. Not that my 6 iron is non-functional, it's just that I'm really enjoying the flight, the consistency/ease of use from my other hybrids. I need a soft-landing ~170-180 yard shot that I can count on. Any thoughts or recommendations? EDIT: Just pulled the trigger on a TM RBZ stage II 6 hybrid. Got the shaft shortened by 1 inch to make my hybrids (3 through 6) a consistent 1/2 in length decrease and to better match my 7i. Got it for around ~$40 on second swing in good condition. Lol, that didn't take long, huh?
  15. Thanks for all the kind words and encouragement fellas - much appreciated.
