  1. Hi, was trying to PM you about your WTB ad on high end hybrid shaft and says cannot receive messages. If you are still needing one, can you message me? Thanks - Mark
  2. LOL, great title and pic! I noticed that too on Friday and thought a tour rep should ask someone from the pro shop to take him out a current hat!
  3. Don't forget to wash that down with a protein shake..or two! Ha!
  4. What is your current handicap? 1 Current gamer fairway? Japan Issued Callaway X2 Hot Pro 13.5 bent to 14. Current gamer hybrid? TEE CBX 119 17 degree (played first gen CBX 17 before that :) ) Where are you located (City, State - US Only Please)? Omaha, Nebraska What club would you like to test? 17 Hybrid or 13.5 fairway. If selected, do you agree to participate in an ongoing review thread? We require you provide hi-res, quality photos, and provide a review of the club? Would be my pleasure to do this and thanks for the opportunity!
  5. I bought a Pro 2H head only and it is a little too upright. Disappointing, as the specs are supposed to be pretty flat(57 degree). Anyone have success bending one? I have a machine to do it, but just wanted some feedback from anyone who has done it/had it done. Thanks in advance - Mark
  6. Thanks Kev, I will try that. The "9.0" does not line up with the straight line of the dashes and adapter, it is a little lower on the head and slightly angled downward. This is a pic from the listing, but it is a little more noticeable in person. Probably just a slight blem, but anything off just makes me wonder. Have been looking at close ups of other heads on ebay and in the store and all seemed to line up perfectly, vertical line on head goes through the center of the stated loft reading.
  7. I bought a new Mavrik 9 degree SZ off of Ebay and noticed that the loft reading - 9.0 did not line up with the vertical line and readings on the adapter, it was slightly angled to the left or down when reading it horizontally. Also, the ferrule was a little off, like the shaft moved during the glue drying process and separated the ferrule a bit making the shaft more upright in there as well and some glue dried on the ferrule and adapter. Starting to question if this is counterfeit or just a factory blemish/mistake. I have not taken off the plastic yet, to remove weights and investigate further. Everything else looks legit and even has a sku sticker on the shaft. I have owned several Callaway heads, still have an XR SZ and never seen this before. Anyone heard of any Mav clones out there? Will Callaway verify a serial number if I call them? Thanks for any input and responses. PIc attached.

  9. Oiler... Spot on and brilliant. One of the best posts I have ever read on here.
  10. On the first tee after JB's name was announced, he waited a few seconds and then pulled the club out of his bag. I thought wow, 5 minutes on the tee and he hadn't even selected his club. I knew Brooks was pissed from that moment on.
  11. There are some bonded ones on ebay but more importantly, Callaway Pre-Owned is selling them pretty cheap right now and the sale ends tonight. I have tried both the retail epic 3+ 13.5 and sub zero 13.5. The retail SZ loked great but was terrible in my opinion, hit spinning moon balls. The epic 3+ was not bad at all, thought it was a touch short in the distance category. I tried my favorite aftermarket shaft in both, so it was not the shaft. Just very intrigued by the tour issue bonded heads, if there is a performance difference over the retail. Would really like some feedback to help me pull the trigger...or not, by tonight, ha!
