  1. Well done for the dumbest post of the day
  2. There would literally be fights in the fairways with players blaming players in front that they're not going to get their free round. And i hope the marshals resemble heavyweight boxers because the garbage they would get from groups would be unbelievable, a marshal going over to a group of 4 and saying sorry guys pick up your balls and move to the next Tee, yeah right Nice idea in a perfect world, daft idea in the real world
  3. I hope he is a sore loser, i hope they all are, i hope there all really peed off and angry, last thing i want them to be is ok with what happened (and just blame the captain)
  4. Well on that basis Europe would have won in 1999 as well if leonard hadnt holed that long putt against Olazabal, and by the time they get to Rome it will be 30 years since Europe last lost at home, and that was the only defeat at home since 1981, so not all is lost
  5. Remember before the Ryder the cup last week and Paddy Harrington was saying we have a good chance of winning...you are even more wrong than that
  6. Not a clue never had one, the 2 clubs ive been a member of didnt feel the need to interview, in the UK we tend to stay at clubs for years and years Wouldnt stop me trying to join them clubs though if i really wanted to join them Ive heard a certain few clubs i know of really like having scratch/low single figures, and they also tend to have limits on the amount of members they have
  7. In the Uk i have heard of certain golf clubs "favouring" lower HC golfers when they get interviewed to join (yes at a lot of clubs in the UK you still have an interview)
  8. As a Euro fan i see a bit of an issue going forward, but its strange how quickly it can change If Rory, Fleetwood, Hatton and Lowry can find their better form, alongside Rahm, Hovland and Garcia, then we have the core of a good team. Problem is the other 5, you never know Molinari might find his good form, and you would think playing in Italy would give him some motivation. Will 2023 be too soon for the Hojgaard twins? will migliozzi step up a level, again hes going to want to qualify with it being in Italy, but after them where kind of looking at the likes of - Fitzpatrick again (please god no!) Casey (maybe time to move on) Rose (maybe time to move on but depends on form) Perez (what happened to him the last few months because i thought he was a bit of a lock 3 months ago) Mcintyre (i was disappointed he didnt make it especially after doing well at the match play) Wallace (dropped off the planet) Wiesberger ( he did alright i suppose) Noren (hes either good or terrible so you never know) And thats not counting the likes of Poulter and Westwood, but its definitely time to move on for them surely
  9. Name me one incident the European team (players, vice captains etc) complained about at this Ryder cup? Only small incidents i seen were actually the American players telling the fans to shut up The only people who complained about the fan behaviour are European fans who have short memories, im a European fan and whats happened at the last 2 ryder cups regarding the fans has been more than acceptable
  10. Golf is like a religion in Europe? you couldn't be more wrong, if it wasn't for the Ryder cup most Europeans don't even watch golf nevermind play it, although im not counting the UK in that
  11. The only thing we need to look at is the qualifying, the fact Westwood and Fitzpatrick still scraped through automatically despite being dreadful for the past 3 or 4 months needs sorting, cant see the harm in doing what the US does and only have 6 auto's But even if that was the case we still would have got mullered, the better players playing great golf is going to get it done no matter what happens, thats golf, 2 years is a long time so could be all change in Rome
  12. Get Rahm v DJ and morikawa v garcia as the first 2 games, atleast it will be fun to watch for a few hours
  13. Nah Harrington will probably put out westwood, fitzpatrick, Rory and poulter as his first 4, Rahm will probably be out last
  14. I get the feeling lowry had been waiting a long time to have the chance to do that
  15. If only hovland had a decent partner at some point in this Ryder cup and he would have the points he deserves
  16. And thats why Rahm is world no 1, dear god what would the score be without him
  17. Casey is making westwood look like crenshaw, its crazy how poor a putter he has been, if he plays this afternoon then the vice captains need to have a mutiny
  18. At the moment casey and hatton cant hit a fairway, cant hit a green, oh and they cant putt, great pairing!
  19. I was disappointed mcintyre didnt play but hes disappeared in the last few months, apart from that you have the hojgaard twins, but there still both very young, at the moment thats it, as a European its worrying for the next 4 or 5 ryder cups
  20. Reckon westwoods son would give them both a good match, absolutely shocking, but no surprise, i was defending Harrington yesterday but after playing them again hes totally lost the plot, he will be joining the clarke and faldo group
  21. Note to westwood, please dont ever, and i mean never, qualify ever again! You have done your bit in the past but now its time to leave stage right!
  22. Sorry but us Euros can take the flack about the golf but not clothing, did you not see the Americans at the opening ceremony? Looked like they had 3 different outfits and just mixed them up
  23. Dont worry fellow Euros here comes westwood and fitzpatrick
  24. Mmm i reckon even Tom Watson as captain would be winning against this European team
  25. I was gonna say can this get any worse, but I think it can and probably will, i know this is probably the worst Euro team ever but there playing even worse than that, are we not allowed to let vice captains play??
