  1. Original Sim Ti. Honestly the longest and lowest spin fairway I've ever had (with the right shaft of course). Really loved the Tsi3, I think you're spot on saying that it is just a well-rounded performer and I really enjoyed the feel of it personally. I was excited to hit the 425 now that the turbulators are gone and I've always liked the lower profile of ping fairways but it actually spun considerably more than both the sim and tsi3. At the end of the day I don't argue with numbers or course results and the OG sim beat out sim2, tsi3, and 425.
  2. Item found, thanks.
  3. As much as I love the styling and looks of the Premieres, I couldn't find a combination of size and width that gave me a confident fit. Picked up a pair of the Traditions instead and couldn't be happier. Really light and comfortable to walk in with a classic saddle look.
  4. Citristrip to take the old paint off. Then model paint as stated above.
  5. Ran into GG today to try get sizing right for a pair of FJ Packard's and saw the new Cole Haan's, actually had to do a double take on them. Threw a pair on and they are just as comfortable as the originalgrand dress shoes, just with soft spikes which isn't really my preference. If they do more than dip their toes into the golf shoe game and come out with some different colorways I may break down and get some.
  6. One item tonight. Toulon Atlanta slant neck. Plays at 35” with stroke lab shaft. Will come with original grip and a Lamkin that was put on for one round. Original headcover included. This was a short lived experiment unfortunately as I love the looks of a mallet but my game doesn’t. Price is $225 shipped via PayPal. Just looking to get back what I paid a couple weeks ago.
  7. 1. City, State? Halethorpe, Maryland 2. Handicap? 2.1 3. Current putter? Toulon Atlanta or Toulon Austin or TM Spider X...a lot of indecision 4. What Bettinardi Studio Stock putter do you want to test? Studio Stock 18: 34" 5. Are you able to test equipment on a golf course with one week of its receipt? Yes! 6. Do you agree to participate in an ongoing testing thread, posting reviews and photos? Yes!
  8. I'll throw these guys a vote as well. I've used them for this promotion the last two years, and while you do pay for shipping (maybe 5.99) the process is as fast as it gets. I'm fairly sure they do the customizations in house so it just expedites the entire process. As much as I would like to go through my club, it was almost a 4 month wait for some of my buddies last year with supply chain issues. So instead, I just bought $150 worth of transfusions to show my support.
  9. My club got their demos in a few weeks ago and I got to tinker with them, so I'll give my breakdown. I currently game the Sim TI 14* with an atmos black ts 7x. For me, this has been the holy grail of fairways for me. I can shape high, low, left, right and more importantly, the forward weight has really gotten my spin into a great window. The head to head - Sim 2 LOOKS a lot better to my eye. It is a more compact head shape which really suits my eye. I do game the Sim2 driver so i also like the darker carbon look of the Sim2 fairway. Performance wise, I found exactly what you
  10. I've never gone through CC but have read plenty of stories on their process. I think the upside to using CC is that they do offer free spec checks on all purchases and IIRC they perform the builds in house. That being said, I have never seen the benefit in paying almost double for what you could get from almost any other retailer or most club fitters. If I were you, I would order from Dan's and then take them to a club fitter to have them built to, or as close to the specs you want. Swing weighting a set of clubs shouldn't be a $2k process.
  11. A few items up for sale today. All prices are inclusive of shipping and paypal fees (if you don't trust USPS right now we can discuss alternative shipping).
