  6. Good Morning WRX’ers! I am currently in the process of buying a house so I would love to get rid of some of this stuff to help me have some more money upfront for a down payment! I just don’t want these items to be sitting around in my house collecting dust anymore, so I feel like it is probably the best to just get rid of it! 1. I have four Bettinardi Headcovers that I am trying to sell! I would ideally like to send them off as a lot, but they can certainly be broken up! The first one that I have is the Masters’ Argyle green, white, and yellow detailing headcover. It has been gamed slightly, but it is still in great shape and doesn’t show any signs of use/wear. I would like to get $85 for this one. Next up is the Augusta White version from the 2020 fall Masters. It has never been gamed before and is in perfect shape! I took it out of the box to take pictures and that is about the most light it has seen! I would also like to get $85 for this one as well! Third, I have the T-Hive En Fuego Rainbow putter cover. I bought this from someone who had gamed it, so it does show signs of wear, but it is in really good condition still and would be a great one to have on any Betti putter! I would like to get $100 for it! Lastly, I have the Under Wraps Halloween headcover. I bought this because it matched the detailing of my putter, but I have actually since been using a different headcover so it is just sitting around. This shows the most wear of them all, but it is still in great shape! I would like to get $75 for this one! I would be willing to let go of the whole set for $300 shipped! ---- I have sold the En Fuego and Argyle headcovers so I would sell the other two together for $150! 2. Next up, I have a set of C-Taper Lite 115X shafts that were pulled from a ZX5/ZX7 combo set. They were only gamed for like five rounds and are in great shape, with basically brand new Golf Pride New Decade Multi Compound grips. They were standard length in the set, so the 7 iron would play 37”. I would like to get SOLDDD shipped for these. 3. Another iron set – this time the Nippon Modus NS Pro 120 Stiff Shafts. These were pulled from a ZX7 Set and I just installed the Project X LZ shafts in these irons instead. The Modus shafts are in great shape, but there is a dent in the 4 iron shaft. It doesn’t affect playability from what I can tell, because I didn’t notice the dent until I pulled them out. I would like to get $120 for these shafts shipped, but please feel free to send offers. 4. I have an LAGP TPZ 135 putter shaft for sale. I bought it and used it for about a month, but I recently have acquired a Fujikura MC Putter shaft that I have found to help me more. The LAGP shaft is awesome and feels great, but the MC putter shaft just seems to help my stroke a bit more for whatever reason. The shaft comes with a Bettinardi Lamkin Sink Fit grip on it and the shaft is in great shape! I would like to get SOLDDDD shipped for this! 5. Lastly, I have kind of a fun project that I was working on. It is an old Taylormade V Steel 3 wood that I put an Aldila NV Blue 70-X shaft into. The head has definitely been played and there are some chips on it, but this thing is still a rocket. The shaft really helps it become a much better club I think, compared to the steel shaft that was in this when I got it. I really like the club, but it just doesn’t compare to my current 3 wood, although it is truly not far off. I cut it to play right at 43” and it comes with a Taylormade Lamkin 360 grip on it. I would like to get $SOLDDD shipped for this, but please feel free to send offers! 6. I recently acquired some tickets to the Solheim Cup for Saturday, September 4th in Toledo, Ohio at Inverness Golf Club. I have three tickets that are $55 apiece (they are $75 if you buy from the website). I do not want to take any pictures of them because then people could scan the code, so I would ideally like to meet in person at the event and exchange them there! Thank you for reading this post and I would appreciate any help I can get with the house buying process!
  7. 1. Handicap? - 8.1 2. Right or left hand golfer? - Right Handed 3. Current wedges and setup? - RTX Zipcore 51, 55, 60* (Full Face on 60). All Std Length and DG Spinner Shafts. 4. Why do you want to be fit for TaylorMade MG3 wedges? - They look much improved compared to the MG2's! The MG2's felt good but they just didnt appeal to me from a looks perspective! 5. Are you available to be on site 8/30/2021 through 9/1/2021? - Yes absolutely! 6. Will you be able to provide your own transportation to and from Reynolds Lake and East Lake Golf Club? - Yes I would be able to! 7. Are you willing to post high quality photos in the forum, write an in depth review of the experience, and possibly be featured on GolfWRX or TaylorMade social media posts? - Yes of course!
  8. Good Morning WRX'ers! I got these putters from a friend who is a big tinkerer (much like myself), so I thought I would give them a try. Well, long story short, they didn't really stand up to my Bettinardi so now they are hopefully off to a good home! First up is an Evnroll ER1v4 Anser style blade putter. It is 35" long with the larger Evnroll grip that comes stock on it. The putter has been rolled about ten times between the two of us, so it is pretty much brand new! I really don't have much else to say about it other than it is less than three days old and it is basically brand new. It has a good feeling coming off the face, but it just is different to what I am used to so I didn't really get along with it! I would like to get $325 out of it, but please feel free to send me offers! Next up is the Taylormade Spider SR with the fluted shaft. It is also 35" long and has been played for probably 20-25 rounds between the two of us. I have been curious to try mallet putters, but I just can't seem to find one that works for me. This is in great shape and rolls really well, but it is tough for me to get along with insert putters. I think that this has become one of the underrated putters in the Spider line, but it really does work well. I would like to get $200 but please feel free to send me any offers! Thank you for your time and hit them straight!
  9. 1. City, State - Convoy, Ohio2. Handicap - 83. What do you use for distances on the course? - Laser Rangefinder 4. If you use a laser rangefinder, what model do you use? - Bushnell Tour V55. Do you agree to participate in an ongoing testing thread, posting reviews and photos? - yes, absolutely!
  10. I would like to start by thanking @GolfWRX_Official and @Srixon / Cleveland Golf for the opportunity to test these balls out. I love what WRX is doing for the golf community and it just is a lot of fun to have a site like this for a golf nerd such as myself. I am 26 years old and an 8 handicap, but I can put some really good rounds together at times. I normally drive the ball fairly well, and my short game is usually what I rely on. The course I play is a little 9 hole track with tight fairways and small greens that normally run quick. The course isn’t always in the best of shape with uneven grass growth and what seems to be about 5 different types of grass scattered throughout the course, but it is a lot of fun to play and it is a great group of guys. I normally play the Bridgestone Tour BXS ball because I am just a guy who doesn’t spin the ball a lot, so I need something that can add a little spin for me. The QST balls in the past when I have played them are probably my favorite ball in the 3-piece urethane construction world because they perform similarly to a tour ball, but I think you do lose just a little bit of spin compared to a four/five piece “tour” ball. Alright, so I was able to take the QSTD ball out last night for my league. I will preface this with the fact that I work for a small golf retail shop on the weekends so I have seen the balls in person, but I haven’t played with them on the course. When we have them in the store, we have used them on our little putting green so it has been something that has caught my eye, so I was very eager to test them! Now, onto the first time on the course with them last night. Before league started, I actually hit some putts on the putting green (which I never really do). It was a lot of fun honestly to see how the ball breaks and if you hit a good putt that rolls end over end. The red and yellow combination is really cool and probably my favorite of the bunch that they have released. I have a Bettinardi Tour Dept BB0 DASS Tri Sole putter that I use so it is a really soft putter and the ball just adds even more softness to it I think. I actually like it to feel a little bit softer off the face which I find to just help me really feel where it comes off the putter and if it rolls well. So, after some time on the putting green, it was time to take it out to the course. I will probably just walk through a couple of holes to give you guys and idea, but it was a really windy night last night in Northwest Ohio, so I was really curious to see how the ball performed. The way the course is set up, about five holes play into the wind, and three holes play downwind, with the one hole playing more of a cross wind. The first hole is a 500 yard par 5 that is fairly easy, but there is a lot of trouble that can turn an easy birdie/par into a bogey/double in an instant. I hit a great drive and could just feel it pop off the face, which left me about 185 in but I had to hit a high cut up and over the tree. I actually hit it how I wanted to, but I struck it a little bit out of the toe. The ball was about 5 yards short of the green, but it was buried in some of the worst grass on the course. I chopped it out and hit it how I felt I would hit a 10-yard shot, and it went about 5 feet. I chipped it again and the club just got caught in the grass again so it went about 10 feet but onto the green. I left myself with about a 10 foot putt up the hill that was breaking right to left. This is where I really noticed the ball doing wonders. I lined up the putt and it just seemed like it was so easy to get the line and put it where I wanted to. I hit the putt and it was rolling well and I knew it would break into the hole so I just knew about halfway there that it was going to fall in the hole. The only other hole I really want to highlight is the 7th hole, which is about a 200 yard par 3. It was playing about 195 yesterday because it is a little downhill. The wind had actually subsided because it was just raining about 15 minutes prior to that. I hit a five iron which I thought was going to be short, but long of that green is just not the best place to be in the world. I hit it really well and it was starting to draw over toward the hole. My favorite thing about this ball is honestly just watching it fly through the air. You can see it turning over and it just was so cool to see. I hit it to about 7 feet and lined the ball up to where I thought it would be breaking to. I hit the putt right where I wanted to, but the ball broke probably 6 inches more than I thought. Everyone in our group just kind of looked at each other confused as to how that putt broke that much, but hey it is an easy par at the end of the day. It was a really good night for me last night with the ball. I shot a 36 (one over par) and played really well the whole night. I had two bad bogeys and a good birdie, so I certainly shouldn’t complain. The ball really performs quite similarly to the Z-Star I felt, but it is a bit softer and you can tell it doesn’t spin as much as a Z-Star, but it still spins really well around the greens, which is where I like the spin the most. I really enjoyed the ball and it was just so easy to play with and line up around the green. It also stands out when you are driving by and looking for it. The rough at my course isn’t super high, but you can definitely lose some balls in it if you aren’t careful. I would say that this is one of the best balls for the money, and I don’t think you would really be sacrificing much compared to a lot of tour balls. Plus, the divide idea is a really cool little way to get people asking questions and just curious about the ball, so it is great marketing by Srixon. I had about 5-10 people come up to me and just ask me about the ball, so that was fun to be able to talk to them about it and just what was going on. Thank you again for this contest and putting this ball into our hands to try them out. I really appreciate all that you guys do, and I am just very impressed with this ball all around. It performs incredibly well for the price point that it is at and the Divide idea is just one of the coolest things out there right now in my opinion.
  11. Very excited to have received these in the mail yesterday. I didn't have time to take them out to the course with me after work so today is the day! I have a golf league tonight (weather depending) and I will be trying them out there and letting everyone know! Thanks!
  12. Hello WRX'ers! I have a couple of sets of shafts for sale today! The set of Modus shafts were pulled from a 4-PW set of Srixon ZX7's and the C-Taper shafts were pulled from a set of ZX5/7 Combos. Both of the sets were standard length so the 7 irons would be 37" installed. The Modus shafts were great but there was a mistake with what I ordered and what was sent to me. I wanted LZ shafts but I kind of messed up so I was sent with the Modus shafts instead. I have finally found the LZ shafts so I really have no reason to hold onto the Modus shafts. They were used for about half of this season and are in great shape still! They have the SuperStroke Tour Velvet style grips on there and I built them up to a midsize grip so there are five extra wraps of tape underneath (6 total). The 4 iron shaft does have a dent in it that I honestly didn't notice until I pulled them out, and it didn't affect playability at all from what I could tell. I would like to get $125 shipped for these but please feel free to send me a message. The C-Taper Lites are the 115X flex and are in great shape. I pulled them for a friend of mine and he just told me to keep the shafts and again, I really have no reason to hold onto them. They were used for about 10-15 rounds and are in really good shape. These shafts come with the Golf Pride New Decade Multi-Compound standard white/black grips that have no extra wraps or anything. I would like to get $SOLDDD for these shafts as well! Again, please feel free to send me an offer! Thank you very much!
