  1. yup, hits it a mile smart decision on the tee shot club selection after seeing Russels' shot backside it was shot after shot by Hideki!!!!!! stripping it!!!! no fear tee shot at 18 needing to birdie or eagle in regulation--BOMB 338 yds
  2. YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! what a 2nd in the playoff!!!!!!!!!!
  3. very informative thread. thank you for taking the time, sharing your knowledge folks!!
  4. if I increase the loft on my adjustable driver from 10.5 to 12 degrees, what happens to the face angle? closed, draw bias? google gives contradictory responses ; Does increasing loft on a driver open or close the clubface? When you lower the loft of a golf club, you are also going to close the angle of the clubface. If you increase the loft on a club, you will open the face angle on the club. This applies when you are adjusting loft on the driver as well as irons or hybrids. then; Does increasing loft close the face? When you adjust a hosel to increase loft, you are actually closing the face fractionally. Conversely when you reduce loft you are open the face slightly. Some clubs counter this visual change by allowing you to also change the face angle by using balance points on the sole.
  5. play the G400 Max. Tried the G410 then the G425. Nope, G400 Max stays in the bag. Wanted a change too, lol
  6. same boat. Not sure what the fuss is about the g425
  7. lookign to try it out as well as the HY-wood. anyone hit the hy-wood? what do you like about the driver so much? carry distance good? shot dispersion? does it favor a shot shape? im 54 , driver SS 95. Play the PIng G400 max, hzadus red shaft and it seems nothing can get this older driver out of the bag! weird !
  8. Callaway B21's will fit the bill if you're comfortable with its offset . I have the 5w-- need to put a bad bad swing to lose it left (im a lefty)
  9. anyone try both? can you kindly share your experience Cleveland hy-wood stock shaft a tad light?
  10. would appreciate any feedback. have seen a few you-tube vids gimmicky? more consistent roll? more stable head? have a great day all!!
  11. played both. The CBX 2 just aint for me. Not sure what i was thinking when i bought them, the damn sole is way too thick . Versatility out the window. Also was a bit shorter (carry distance) than my previous gamers which i ddint like . More forgiveness , yes. i play the RTX Zipcore 50, 54, 58. Best wedges ive ever played. Happy camper!!!!
  12. have played the Sim2 Max 16.5, Ventus blue. Use it primarily off the tee. Absolute game changer for me. A tad too high perhaps, but i like the high ball flight pleasing to the eye! just a great club
  13. tried these wedges, not for me, the wide sole just..just...no thanks. Playing the RTX Zipcores, absolutely love them.
  14. i play the zx5. My wedge set up is : Cleveland Zipcore 50/54/58 PW zx5- 130yds Zipcore 50- 120 yds works for me. The Zipcore are the best wedges ive owned in trs. im thinkign of buying a back-up once the new line comes out
