  1. I am selling my Callaway Apex Pro 19 irons. These are 4-pw shafted with KBS C-Taper lite 110 S straight from Callaway (so no extensions). These are +1/2" over Callaway standard in length and they are bent 1* upright. Swing weight should be around D5. Condition is great and show normal wear for their age. I have included pictures of each face to show the condition, but can definitely get more pictures as needed. These were great clubs for me, but I have gravitated back to heavier shafts and need to get rid of this set to make room for another. $600 shipped. $525 shipped OBRO. Also open to trades for similar irons with 120 or 125 gram shafts.
  2. Selling my old Tensei AV blue shafts from my driver, 3W, and driving iron. Let's start at $75 $60 each OBO including shipping. $200 $150 for all three including shipping. 1. AV Blue 65 X - 44 1/4" to end of grip with Callaway Optifit 2 adapter. SOLD 2. AV Blue 75 X - 42 1/8" to end of grip with Callaway Optifit 3 adapter SOLD 3. AV Blue 80HY X-flex - 38 3/4" to end of grip. This is a one-time pull from my SIM UDI 2 iron. I purchased it new with the UDI this past fall and never really got along with it. SOLD
  3. - Have you hit a Ventus shaft yet? What model? No - What Ventus TX shaft do you want to win? Blue 6 TX - What club in your bag would a Ventus TX go in? Driver
  4. 1. City and State? Inlet Beach, FL 2. Where do you practice (outdoors or indoors?) Outdoors 3. Have you used a personal launch monitor before? Never, but I love data and would love the opportunity to use one. 4. How could a Rapsodo MLM help your game? I want to take the Rapsodo out to the golf course with me to dial in all of my clubs with course conditions, not just on the range. 5. Do you agree to participate in an ongoing testing thread, posting reviews and photos? Absolutely!
  5. When it came to wedges, I was asked if I would be willing to pay more than $150 for a wedge. Answering yes gave me the PXG Sugar Daddy 0311 wedges for $650/ea. While I think this tool will be helpful for some, I also think that there could have been some more valuable questions related to my golf game that were more in line with the questions for the other clubs in the bag. For example, I would think it would be better to ask about distance gapping, turf interaction, whether or not I open or close the face for certain shots, etc. instead of whether or not I would pay more than $150 for a wedge. Just my $0.02
  6. I recently acquired a used set of 714 MB's as my first set of MB's/blades. I didn't know what to expect since I was fit for the Callaway Apex Pro 19's with KBS C-Taper lite shafts. Fast forward to owning and testing the blades for the past couple of months and I am now feeling more confident with the blades than my Apex Pros. These 2 sets spec out pretty similarly (length, lie, and swing weight are the same). Obviously, the lofts are little weaker and they do have the KBS tour 120 S shaft in lieu of the C-Taper lite 110 S that I have been playing which is definitely a different profile. I am just surprised at how much more control I have with the blades. Ball striking has always been a strength of my game, and I don't play enough to have expectations of shooting low scores. I am really just a weekend warrior who likes the feeling a flushed golf shot. The blades definitely scratch the itch of a flushed shot. I was recently able to spend a little time on a GC quad and saw carry distances were not penalized much at all, but with the increase in spin I have more control and don't have the occasional flier. Anyway, I just wanted to thank all of the blade users in this thread for inadvertently encouraging me to game clubs that I thought were out of reach. I am now more confident standing over all of my iron shots and at end of the day, I am playing the golf clubs that I enjoy playing with.
  7. I am a long time browser and buyer, but this is my first time selling in the classifieds. Today I have a set of 3 Vokey SM6 wedges. These should all be 1/2" over standard length and are all shafted with KBS Tour stiff shafts. I don't have any fancy tools or equipment to check L/L/L, so don't hold me to the exact specs. These have normal wear for their age. The all have matching serial numbers, are in the tour chrome finish, and will likely need new grips. I would prefer to sell these as a set, but am open to splitting them up if there are buyers for each club. SOLD 60 degree with 8 degree bounce, M Grind 56 degree with 10 degree bounce, S Grind 52 degree with 8 degree bounce, F Grind
  8. 1. City and State? Inlet Beach, FL 2. Handicap? +/-10 3. What ZX iron set do you want to test? Either, but would prefer the ZX7. I was fit for the 785's, but opted for Apex Pros. 3. Are you able to test equipment on a golf course with one week of its receipt? Yes! 4. Current Iron setup? Callaway Apex Pro 19's w/ KBS c-taper lite 110 S, +1/2" and 1 degree up 5. What is the most exciting thing about the ZX irons? Single piece forging and sole shape. I play Cleveland wedges and love the v-sole. 6. Do you agree to participate in an ongoing testing thread, posting reviews and photos? Absolutley!
  9. Which one do all of the DIYers prefer and why? Is there even a difference?
  10. I bought a hard case a year or two ago and it has held up well. The only problem I have run into was it not fitting into a smaller rental car when it was just me and my wife traveling. Just something to think about when getting a hard case vs. a soft case.
