  1. That is the perfect shape. Not a thing wrong with that look imo. Good job Mizuno. I know I just got the SiM2 Max but this is making me rethink my decision.
  2. who is your nearest authorized dealer? - Club Champion, Livingston, NJ or GolfEtc, Morristown, NJ Why are you excited to try the MC Putter shaft? - I would like to experience better feel from my putter. My current putter can be somewhat harsh with the CT Tour putter shaft installed despite the incredible accuracy What flex MC Putter shaft do you want to win? - whatever fits me best but I'm thinking the Xfirm
  3. I go back and forth with my r7TPs and understand the appeal of those old fws. Something about the OG Vsteels, r7TPs and burners that were way ahead of their time. But there are plenty of new clubs that improve on them in one way or another. Plenty are longer but sacrifice launch and spin. Most new fws are going to be more forgiving. Those LTDs are beasts and mini drivers. If you like them, you need to just find the right shaft. If not, then I'm not going to give you any new information. As others have said, the new Titleist "2" woods are something special. They are long, forgiving, and
  4. Still playing the IZ hybrid for another season. It is so good. I didn't get along with the IZ in a fwy (probably tipped too much - felt dead and didn't launch) so I was surprised the hybrid worked out so well.
  5. I'm a 9hc. I play a TS2 15° with a GD VR-7X.
  6. There was a time I was playing a driver-2h-3i setup because I couldn't hit a 3w to save my life. One less club in the bag made the bag lighter to carry. I ended up working on my swing and got older so now I need the help from a 3w and the versatility of a hybrid but you do you. I used to play with a guy who went driver right to 3i and 2 wedges. He was a scratch golfer and just liked that setup. He'd hit driver off the dirt too. You just have to play what works, not a certain setup.
  7. I highly recommend the SIM rocket. You can lift it down real low. I have the regular 3 wood I'm testing now and it is a low spin beast of a 3w.
  8. anyone know how the firm or X firm compare to the KBS CT Tour? I have a CT in my putter right now and it's super accurate but can be a tad harsh on some mishits.
  9. The regular glides had the wide sole option but not the forged. They were all mid bounce and single grind.
  10. The more I look at these, the more I like them. They have a very Vokey 400 shape at address that I absolutely love. I just hope they have higher bounce versions. I am a digger with my wedges and play on a very soft course most of the time. These bounce angles just won't work for me
  11. Ping is killing it in 2021. This is the first time in a long time I'd play a full bag of ping clubs (minus the putter). The only thing missing is the list of grind/sole options before these will be a serious contender for me.
  12. Still not a pocket. It's the bevel coming from the muscle. There are 2 bevels there. One coming right from the muscle and another going more horizontal into the "cavity". All you're seeing is some bag chatter or pencil marks.
  13. That's not a pocket. It's just a shadow. It's the same bevel that these pics have, just with a different light source.
  14. Back in the day, I got a nearly new BBD Type H proto with Fuji Sapphire for around $50. Also got my current set of irons, z745s, barely used for $350 and now can't find any sets in that condition. I've been looking for a backup set but none are close. I know there are others but I can't remember them.
  15. Those do look really good but it would be nice to have the "MC" be the differentiating color instead of the lower half of the shaft. I prefer a single color shaft on my putter so the 2 tone for the softer models is a bit of a turnoff. I'll admit that these intrigue me. I'm using the KBS CT Tour putter shaft now in a milled head and getting really good results with it but I could definitely benefit from some softer feel especially when I mishit one.
  16. Here goes nothing... Driver - don't really remember... Maybe 3 years but probably closer to 2 3w - 2 years Hybrid - 3 years 4i - 3 years 5-9 - a long time and will likely be in the bag a lot longer than I will be alive Wedges - 3 years Putter - 2 years Score - ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ more than 15, less than 50.
  17. My favorite is either the versa or MXM. But the original white hot tour lined and filled 2 ball is still epic.
  18. Depending on the putter, you could also sand down the sole, make the cavity deeper, or just cut off a portion of the back of it.
  19. I designed my own and had a local machine shop make it for me. Here's the link to the topic with pictures:
