  1. I've had one. The longer you use it you begin to get an indention where you grip it and it becomes very easy to grip the club the same way every time.
  2. Probably just trying to piggyback of the old classic. Marketing really.
  3. That's hilarious. Did you forget where you're posting?
  4. Here in Arizona a large majority of the courses are target oriented. Tee box - patch of desert - patch of grass - patch of desert - patch of grass and green complex. It's all about hitting a distance. With that in mind I've sauced out my yardages with the top of the bag with that in mind. Driver: 260 4w: 235 7w: 215 4h: 195
  5. I keep trying different things as well but always come back to the old faithful of Driver, 4W, 7W, and 4H.
  6. Currently its's all about the carry bag. I go 44° 9i, 50° gw, and 56° sw. For the full bag I add a pw and a 62° lw.
  7. I have an old TM R50 with a TT DG S300 shaft at 43". Is that heavy and short enough?
  8. I just brought it up because someone else mentioned that all the pros use lob wedges.
  9. Just for info the last LPGA major winner (Sei Young Kim) and the current LPGA major leader (Hinako Shibuno) have 56° and 57° as their highest loft wedges.
  10. I have that same wedge. It's in the garage where it belongs. Don't get me wrong, it's fun to play with, it's just way to inconsistent to bring to the course right now.
  11. I've never been very good with a 3w off the deck. A 4w is a little better. Since I started doing the minimalist thing I've gone to a 5w/3h combo and it's working quite well. On a side note I've seen a number of PGA pros (teachers, not tour guys) who don't carry fairways. They like the 2h/4h combo and shoot in the 70's all the time. It helps that they can all chip and putt.
  12. I've got three of these. Don't use them anymore.
  13. Played in a three club tourney at the start of the year and all but one in the top 10 used putters.
  14. Driver, 5w, 3h here. Couldn't be happier.
  15. Consider a component company for a better price. I use Acer wedges and the heads are only $12 ea. https://www.valuegolf.com/wedge-heads/acer-xb-satin-wedge-heads
  16. Tommy Armour 845s Oversize Reduced Offset.
  17. Kinda weird on the USGA site. They only list the 52°, 56°, and 60° PCF Micro Tour C on the conforming list. https://www.usga.org/InfoClubsDB/ResultDisplay.aspx?clubtype=Wedge&Manf=Tom Wishon Golf Technology&Prod=PCF Micro Tour C
  18. Is this a trick question? You can't upgrade from the TA 845s Silver Scot.
  19. I've been playing Acer XB satins for a couple of years now and couldn't be happier.
