  1. I wear FootJoy insulated boots an use Clicgear cart mittens.
  2. I bought a used set of Master Models when I was in High School in 1971. They were at 17-4 cast irons with minimal perimeter weighting to increase clubhead MOI. They weren't much more forgiving than blades on mishits and nowhere near as forgiving as Pings. As you mention, their is no leading edge radius or bounce in the narrow soles. I'd buy forged blades if I wanted a classic set or clubs with modern tech for regular play. With that being said, I played them for 15 years and and by all means play them if they work for you!
  3. I've played Vice Pros for the last 5 years and have been happy with the performance and price. However, about 1 in 6 balls of the last batch I bought would develop small tears in the cover within the first nine holes. I'm just finishing up a dozen sample Snell balls and really like the MTB Black. It feels a tad firmer than the Pro and I get a couple of yards more off the driver. Just my experience, YMMV.
  4. Jack Nicklaus quote from 2001: "Only two things can stop Tiger — injury or a bad marriage." https://www.businessinsider.com/dan-jenkins-quote-tiger-woods-2014-4
  5. I look forward to the first WRX in hand review followed by 20 pages of arguments, insults and personal attacks.
  6. Does this help?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9aXdaVyNOcM
  7. What's the chance you and your buddies feel the same way but just haven't told each other?
  8. Agreed!. I used the word "anchor" when I should have used "pressed firmly against my forearm".
  9. I've switched to this grip. I can do a better job of anchoring the putter to my forearm this way.
  10. Put about 18 inches of painters tape on the mat perpendicular to direction you are aiming. Place the ball a half in inch in front of the tape and swing away. We've had tons of rain this winter. Fat shots are death! I play the ball a bit further back in my stance when hitting off the mushy stuff.
  11. I can't remember what I paid but it was a lot less than I expected. Give them a call and they will give you a quote over the phone.
