  1. Peoria, IL8.2Taylor Made M6 w/ HZRDUS Black 6.5What would you improve with your current setup?? Would hope to maintain the same stability while being able to feel transfer more. What Tensei AV RAW shaft do you want to test? Orange, or WhiteDo you agree to participate in an ongoing testing thread, posting reviews and quality photos? Absolutely.
  2. City and State (US Only): Peoria, IL Handicap: 7.6 Current Irons: Mizuno MP-18 MMC Favorite Feature of the New P790 irons: In all honesty, visually they seem to have "slimmed" the look while also giving it a few nice edges. In the past when I looked at the 790's I felt like they softened the edges and it kind of made them look chunky. When you combine that with improving upon already awesome tech (speedfoam, tungsten weighting, ICT) in a nice forged package and it makes my mouth water. If selected, do you agree to participate in a review thread? We would ask you provide hi-res, quality photos, and provide a review of the clubs? Absolutely!
  3. like three weeks after your fitting the M3/M4 launched. The M1/M2 were 11 months old at that point. TM does have a product cycle but its new drivers every January like clockwork. Callaway follows the same model. So do literally dozens of car companies.....
  4. Queen B 10 Length; Standard 35" (35.75" if possible) Loft; 3° Lie; 69° Grip; Jumbo Big thanks for the giveaway from a strong IL golf company!
  5. Any update on whether or not Stratton has any status on any of the tours?
  6. I just read pretty much this entire thread and am super intrigued by all of this. In the market for both driver and irons for next year and was pretty much set on Mizuno irons (again) and Titleist woods. That may be changing if what this thread says is true. Bummed I missed the pics.
  7. Better Batten down the hatches man. Sounding like it may get Nautical down your way later this week!
  8. I was a long time oakley guy and recently went to Costa. They have a width selector you can filter by on their website, and I will be honest the quality of the optics if far superior to anything else I have gotten previously. I was worried about how the polarized may effect depth perception on the golf course and it really has had no ill effect.
  9. So when we headed up to Cheesehead land to play Sand Valley and compare the two? :swoon:
  10. I have a feeling a couple companies want to back a Brinks truck up for Koepka. Maybe JT?
  11. It is a reference to an area of seats down both the 1st and 3rd base lines usually just past the bases for 100 ft or so. When a batter hits a pulled foul ball line drive (read low and head level) they come fast and hard and you are beyond the area where the protective netting extends. You really have to be aware if you are sitting in those seats. If you're sitting there chit-chatting you can get a painful wake up call. Photo looks like a box behind home plate.
  12. Not trying to stir s***, but Fenway has red seats in the lower level around the infield (aka "Line Drive" Section). And of course Green seats on top of the monster. Justine's clothes and hat say 2016 Ryder cup could this be an old photo even? *******Edit**** They did introduce a "premiere" seating section at Fenway a few years back with similar seats to what is in the picture, but that's a box behind home plate? Not really line drive section.
  13. You do realize she didn't miss a tournament up to this point while dealing with the death of her grandmother and her mother battling cancer. Throw that on top of having a major taken away from you over some bull s*** viewer call in and dealing with that fall out in front of the entire world and lovely trolls like yourself calling her all kinds of lovely names on Social media and forums like this. You can talk double standard all you want but I am pretty sure PGA tour members have taken longer periods of time off for their family members dealing with cancer or other illnesses as well (J. Day, Stewart Cink, Jimmy Walker, Phil). Is it different because it's not her spouse? Is it different because she's a young, attractive woman, who is supposed to smile, look pretty, and not speak back to old men on the internet who are trying to tell her how she is supposed to feel and act. The girl is 23 years old and has had every single minute of her life since she was 16 lived in the spotlight in front of everyone. Could you have lived your life at 23 with everything you did broadcasted to the world? But it's ok, go on preaching about "how you worked 40 hours a week 5 days a week for 40 years" I am sure its a pretty even comparison.
  14. City, State: Peoria, IL Handicap: 8.5 Current Ball?: Rotate between TP-5X and Pro-V1 X Do you Agree to keep product information confidential until a given date? Yes. Do you agree to be part of a GolfWRX member review thread for Srixon and add you review, photos, stories and updates? Absolutely
  15. Can't go wrong with Sugarfire, but I would even offer up Salt and Smoke, or Pappy's if you are a BBQ aficionado. You also have arguably some of the best Italian food I have ever eaten right there on the hill as another option. I am not positive if they have changed the course routing or not, but from the one time I have played the course and being a youngster when they had the US Sr. Open there several years back; -2 was a cool hole before the '06 reno and they seem to have opened it up even more now. -9 is a cool hole as it is almost straight up the hill and you get a cool view of the players approach shots from behind the green. -11 should have lots of drama as depending on the tees and the player it will be a one shot par 4 or a nice lay up and some wedges thrown in tight to a tricky green. -12 from the tee offers a IMO a cool view and if your able to get a spot behind the tee and watch the shot shapes and lines some of these guys take is always pretty cool.
