  1. Looks like they are in stock on Carls Golfland and a few others. TGW says they are backordered and will be in stock on 9/29. I wouldn’t order direct through Titleist though or else you risk further delays.
  2. Not sure what you have for previous irons. As a generalization, forged clubs will definitely nick up more so vs cast. You’ll especially notice morso brand new (not sure if Titleist is using softer materials this year vs past years, but pretty common industry wide for companies trying to achieve and push the boundaries of even softer more buttery feel). My T100s already have a few dings too after a couple rounds but I expected it and doesn’t really bother me. They’re irons and inevitable they’ll take a beating.
  3. I disagree and don’t think that’s accurate, assuming you are referring to men’s tour level speed. T100 is commonly played on LPGA tour (see So Yeon Ryu, Anna Nordqvist, Nelly Korda) who’s ladies have average swing speed of 76 mph with 7-iron. It’s more so you need to be a better ball striker although swing speed may help on those mishits, but by no means you need to be tour level swing speed to game T100 or T100s.
  4. I would agree with that. The T100s were designed in consideration for the tour players. Titleist stated most of the tour pros tend to hit the down on the toe and designed the irons with the Vokey team to provide relief by adding more bounce on the toe and reduced bounce on the heel, so would make sense that heel shots would feel more harsh and penalizing.
  5. Did you hit these off a mat or from grass? I would have to disagree that the T100S are louder and harsher than the ZX7s and ZX5s. I can only speak from my personal experience. Just for context; I took out my T100S yesterday on the course and can honestly say these these feel so soft and crisp when hit flushed. Probably one of the best feeling irons I’ve ever hit IMO. I then went to an indoor hitting bay using the same ProV1 ball, and felt the feel was night and day vs. hitting off of grass. Unless I’m purposely trying to drive the club extra steep and through into the mat to make center or low point center contact, it just wasn’t giving me the same feel as real course conditions. I’ve also hit the Z7s in both mat and outdoors and found my experiences to be pretty similar with the T100S. I personally love the feel of the T100S, (not to say the ZX7s are inferior, I love the feel of those) too but my point is you just don’t get the true feel of a club from hitting off of a mat.
  6. Just received my T100S as of yesterday (pre-ordered on 8/6) .These clubs look amazing! I couldn’t bear the wait and took them on the course at my local club this morning. In summary you definitely get what you put into them. Lots of great feedback with these clubs and do have some forgiveness (but not much). When flushed in the middle, these things feel really soft and crisp with a nice medium high penetrating ball flight. On mishits, they don’t feel as harsh as blades but they will definitely let you know with a really firm feel and distance drops (mediocre ball strikers need not apply). At address, these look really beautiful, compact and thin top line (honestly I couldn’t tell the difference between these and most blades at address), but not really intimidating to my eye. Overall, I’m really impressed with these and looking forward to many more future rounds!
  7. I opted for the T100S set wedge which is at 48 in GW (4 degrees gap from the T100S PW). I’m putting my faith that the Titleist R&D team along with the Vokey team collaboration put a lot of thought and effort in these gappings and set ups. I also went with Vokey 54 and 58 for remaining wedges.
  8. Just got word that my order for T100s (5-GW) and a couple Vokey wedges shipped out this past Saturday I didn’t receive any notification via email, text, etc. I just called Titleist this morning and the rep informed me they had shipped and confirmed on the order status website (didn’t update until this morning). I placed the order on 8/6 with AMT Black shafts and rest stock/standard configurations. By the time I get them (ETA 9/16), this will be around the 6 week mark. Would’ve been nice to receive a tracking number and carrier information, but with staffing and supply issues these days guess beggars can’t be choosers I guess.
  9. I would take YouTube video reviews and forum comments here with a grain of salt, hence, why fitting is very important. Most reviews (IMO) by YouTubers and comments in this forum are for the most part only hitting the stock configs or same shaft they are using from current iron for handful of shots then passing judgement on the club, which is lazy testing and reviewing. When I went for fitting, I initially was spinning and hitting it too high for the stock shaft in the T100 and T100S. Long story short, fitter dialed me in for free upgrade shaft to get my optimal ball flight and numbers after hitting a ton of balls. I opted for T100S since I could use extra distance especially on days when I’m not feeling 100%. I think with you’re current T100 and not wanting extra distance, I’m guessing you’ll see marginal gains with this years version of the T100. But it’s always awesome to have something new and shiny
  10. I haven’t had the chance to hit either. My shop didn’t carry either these (T200 utility and U505) clubs. I only tried the U510 at my local shop along with the SIM UDI 2 iron and T200 7-iron. May be apples to oranges comparison, but it was the closest IMO to getting an idea. The U510 felt nice and easy to hit, but dispersion was a bit all over the place for me (more so operator error) and it was really chunky looking which would definitely contrast to the looks of the T100s in the bag and at address. The UDI had better dispersion and wasn’t too demanding. My thinking is the UDI is going to look and play similar to the T200 utility build. I went ahead and ordered the T200 utility build in both a 3-4 iron with HZRDUS RDX Black in addition to T100s 5-GW and crossing my fingers these work out. I’ll have some updated feed back once these arrive and I have a chance to get a few rounds with them.
  11. Just received an email my order (placed on 8/8) for T100S 5-GW in AMT Black shafts and rest stock configs has moved to production status. Does anyone know how long production takes before they are shipped?
  12. After hearing of several folks on this thread getting their clubs early, I called Titleist to check on my order. Ordered T100s 5-GW, two SM8 wedges both with AMT Black Stiff. Order was placed on August 8. The Titleist rep said the AMT Black shafts had just arrived and are in inspection process with build to follow. She said expect 2-3 weeks from today on ship date. Interesting, in my past experience inspection usually happens after the build. Order status still states in process but hopefully there’s no further delays with these.
  13. Received an update from Titleist. Was told on Monday my order (placed on August 8th) for T100S 5-GW (AMT Black shafts with rest stock configs) wouldn’t ship until end of September (rep stated the AMT Black shafts weren’t expected to arrive until late August then add build time and shipping). Then I received an email this morning from Titleist stating “we are still on track to ship in the quoted lead time of 6 weeks targeting early September to ship”. So, who knows?
  14. I just spoke with Titleist directly. I put in two separate orders for a couple of Vokey wedges and T100S 5-GW in AMT Black shafts with standard lie and stock grips. Order was placed on Aug. 8th. They are awaiting for AMT Black shafts to arrive sometime by end of this month. Quote on shipping dates was 1st week of September for the Vokeys and 3rd or 4th week of September for T100S. Hopefully no further delays
  15. I ordered the T100S in 5-GW with AMT Black shafts a couple weeks ago. Order status is still showing “Being Processed”. I haven’t received any updates yet on estimated ship date. Hopefully it arrives sometime in September
