  1. Wasn’t there just a thread about the PGA Tour turning into the WWE? I guess it was the KFT instead.
  2. Fitness =/= looking like a bodybuilder. They don't need to train to protect themselves from running into other large, strong people at high speeds.
  3. You watching the broadcast? There's no one there!
  4. Thought this post was from the same person that posted about how Tiger's career was ruined by one tournament yesterday.
  5. Not super on topic but...3,200 acre property?
  6. Imagine the two college teammates (from across the country), in the loaded Columbus qualifier, get in together in the last two spots, in a playoff?
  7. Playoff for 2nd alternate spot.
  8. There will be a playoff for the final four spots, between the following. - Jhonattan Vegas, three PGA Tour wins (2011 Bob Hope, 2016, 2017 RBC Canadian Open) - Peter Malnati, one win on the PGA Tour (2015 Sanderson Farms) and two Korn Ferry wins. - Tom Hoge, one Canadian Tour win. - Cole Hammer (a) and Pierceson Coody (a), who are teammates at the University of Texas.
  9. Yep, some strong play on the final three holes by Pierceson Coody, an amateur that plays at Texas (grandson of Masters winner Charles Coody) will knock out Rickie Fowler, Padraig Harrington, Keegan Bradley, Jason Dufner, Brandon Hagy, Ben Taylor among a few others from the chance at moving on. I'm not sure exactly how it works, but someone from that group might have the chance at the second alternate spot? Looks like there are 17 players at -6 or better.
  10. I could be wrong, but I believe the USGA chooses how many spots each site gets based on the field strength. So Columbus has a lot more spots available because the field strength is so high. If the players were to be all spread, than the spots would be more even among the qualifying locations as well.
  11. Following Chez Reavie and JT Poston around the course. Absolutely nuts the way these guys can go after the pin at the local CC after some rain.
  12. After the first 9 - Rickie T47 with a +1. Just from eyeballing it, looks like he played the toughest nine hole segment (back nine at Brookside). I think overall I saw that Lakes was playing a full three shots better. Looks like the rest of the regular PGA tour players are still in the hunt too, no one really bombed the first nine.
  13. Went out to the Columbus qualifier before it got halted by rain. Probably a group of 75 trailing Rickie.
