  1. I tend to carry more modern woods and driver, and keep the weaker lofted irons I do have a 23* 7 wood I might put back in the bag.
  2. Who uses a 5W vs a 2iron, and who uses both? My 5 W is 18* and my 2I is 19* so they go about the same distance. Who uses one vs the other or both and why?
  3. Do you do two wedges or 3 if you have 52* PW?
  4. Finally got my Maxfli's back from the pro shop finally got new 7.0 shafts and grips in cant way to try em this weekend. Question for you players with traditionally lofted clubs how many wedges do you carry if you have a 50-52* PW.
  5. Does anyone in here actually see or feel a difference between S and X flex? I've seen a lot of videos where it showed little to no difference for 99% of golfers. How much different in flex does it gotta be before you notice a difference?
  6. I'm not super curious what other middle aged guys can his distance wise.
  7. I'm a little above that I can give specifics if the thread would like it.
  8. Would it be at all helpful to know what us middle aged guys hit yardage wise?
  9. I might grab one see how it plays
  10. What's easier to get through the rough this or a Driving Iron?
  11. does anyone make a more modern ginty, aka metal or titanium?
  12. Sounds like a cross between a 7 wood and a hybrid
  13. Im assuming the 10 and 11 iron are similar to gap Wedges?
  14. What are the weakest lofted classic irons that wouldn't be too hard to find online? I'd like some with a 52* PW or better.
  15. Just curious what some of you classic golfers have for club set up, Im currently carring D,3W, 5W, 3-PW, SW, LW, putter. Who here prefers a DI or 1/2 Iron vs the 5W?
  16. Use whatever clubs and club configuration helps you play your best game. There’s PGA pros that use belly putters and armlock putters because they can’t reliably put with a conventional putter. If a chipper helps you hit more confidently use it.
  17. Definitely take it easy in the heat, I'm a former collegiate athlete so I can get a way with a lot, but trying to rely on fundamentals not athletics.
  18. I think i've decided im gonna do a 13* 3W 18* 5W and then a 20* 2 iron
  19. I'm 43 wouldn't call it old but definitely wouldn't call it young.
