  1. Update: Well, it's confirmed - I received the wrong club. My fitter finally got back to me and said it should be a 21 degree 4 hybrid. That certainly makes more sense. Even though the loft is the same as my current 4 iron, I would expect it to come off a little hotter. Should fill the gap nicely. Thanks for all the responses. Good thing I didn't hit it!
  2. Exactly my thought. My old hybrid was 18 degrees and filled the gap perfectly.
  3. I also reached out to the fitter about this but no response yet. It arrived in default/neutral settings.
  4. It’s a set of Srixon ZX4s and I believe I strike the 4 iron pretty well. I’m not too concerned about the number on the club but that it’s actually higher lofted than the 4 iron. My old hybrid is lofted 18 degrees and filled the gap perfectly.
  5. This particular club explicitly shows a 5_24 on the neck of the head. If I can contact him and he says that’s it, I’m good with it. A 3 degree higher loft than my highest iron just seems weird to me.
  6. That’s my next move. Thanks man
  7. That’s what I’m thinking. Something seems off.
  8. I will keep it out of the bag for tomorrow Thanks man
  9. My same thought. Either Titleist sent me the wrong club or maybe my fitter fat fingered the order. I reached out to him but he hasn’t responded. Playing in a tournament tomorrow and was reallllllly lookin forward to using it.
  10. Honestly, I don’t know. He put the TSi2 in my hands, made some adjustments, then ordered it. I didn’t know the specs until it showed up. He fit me for my whole bag and he’s been awesome so far but this just doesn’t seem right.
  11. Man, I’ve been waiting for months and I see no announcement in sight. Went for a fitting and he put me in Vokeys. Didn’t think I was good enough to game traditional wedges but here we are.
  12. I was fit for a TSi2 hybrid a few weeks ago and it just arrived. Upon closer inspection, I realized it’s a 24 degree lofted 5 hybrid. I was expecting something with less loft. This club was supposed to fill the gap between my 3 wood (15 degrees) and 4 iron (21 degrees). Did Titleist send me the wrong club or is this common? Would a hybrid with 24 degrees of loft ever be used to gap higher than a 4 iron with 21 degrees of loft? Help - I’m confused.
  13. Nice - congrats on the placement. Earning money makes you a professional golfer, right? I'm crossing my fingers, brother. As soon as I hear anything, I'll post on this thread!
  14. Wondering the same. If history repeats itself - the CBX2 was announced on July 29th 2019 and made available to buy on August 30th 2019. Keep your ears open over the next week or so. As soon as Cleveland posts something on IG I'm sure it'll be all over the forums.
  15. Well, they finally came in and they are beautiful. Went with 4-PW attached to TT Project X 6.0 shafts and Golf Pride MCC +4 midsize grips. I've only played one round with them but the ball flight is a huge improvement over my old clubs and the ball coming off the face feels amazing. Obviously the lofts are jacked so I'm more or less clubbing down from the distances I'm used to with my old set. Definitely a chunky iron at address when you get past a 7 iron but I'm a 19 handicap so seeing the bulge in my low irons gives me some confidence. First time with the 5-iron on a 192 par 3, I stuck it 6 feet from the pin with very little release. Missed the birdie putt (I'll blame the aerated greens) but sunk the comeback for par. I've heard the decent angle can sometimes be too low with these irons but I had no issue sticking greens. If you're looking for solid GI set of irons with a forged like feel, look no further. I would recommend these beauts to anyone. Now I need to get the bottom of the bag figured out because the PW is going about 140. C'mon new Cleveland CBX zipcores.
  16. Agreed. I'm thinking 48, 54, and 60 full face . My ego wants to play the RTZ zips but I know I should be playing the cavity back wedges. I currently game an original CBX 56 and the thing is money.
  17. Ordered a set of ZX4 4-PW with TT Project X 6.0 shafts (+.5") in April. Initially I was told that orders were being filled in about 3-4 weeks. After a month, Srixon told me that the clubs wouldn't be built/shipped until the end of June. Well, June came and went. Now I'm hearing from Srixon that they will be done mid to end of July. It seems like a lot of you are experiencing the same thing and maybe they're just waiting on shafts at this point. I like to gripe on here but I do believe they will be worth the wait. I'm just hoping that the order won't be pushed back any more. I've played my current irons for 10+ years so what's another 1-2 months. Positive thinking! Seriously though, I want my freaking irons.
  18. Gamed the Ping G425 at the start of the season but couldn't hit it. I always thought Ping was the face of forgiveness but hitting the Cally LS has blown me away. It's been in my bag for a few months now and my distance and dispersion have improved greatly. The head combined with the Mitsubishi MMT 60 X shaft is a pure bomb combo off the tee box. I've only swung the SIM2 a few times so I can't speak to how it compares but I was a TM (2010 Burner) guy before making the switch to the Epic Max LS and I have to say the difference is huge.
  19. Ordered a 4-PW set back in April. Still not here but Srixon saying they should be here late July. Out of all the clubs I hit during my fitting, these felt the best and they look sharp at address for a GI iron. Should also say I'm coming from TM Burner 2.0's that are 10+ years old. Will update when I can actually play with them. I'm hoping to knock 5 strokes off like @combokid!
  20. @scott406 Yes! This is the news I've been waiting for. Thanks for sharing
  21. I was recently fitted for new irons and the ZX4 blew me away. I swung the G425, the Sim 2, and the Apex DCB but nothing felt as good. Coming from TM burner 2.0s from 2010, the feel of the Srixons were amazing. I'm counting down the seconds until they arrive.
  22. Any update on this? I've been wondering myself. To buy the CBX 2 set or wait for a potential new release?!
