  1. The PING G425 irons have been the best set of irons I have hit. After testing the PXG line of clubs using trackman analysis, it became evident that the pings were better for dispersion, feel and distance. The PINGs also look far better that the rather ugly and utilitarian appearance of the PXG’s. Not that it is a major consideration, but your future resell value will be greater with The PINGS.
  2. My g425 irons arrived today (ordered May 11th, 2021) - 10 weeks after placing the order. They look beautiful!
  3. Ping Glide 3.0 wedges (50, 54, 58) ordered 5/11/21 were received on 7/16/21. Still waiting on my g425 irons (4-PW) ordered on the same date. hopefully they show up soon.
  4. The Foot Joy Pure Touch is like butter. Amazing feel and worth every penny. Once you put one on, you are forever spoiled. my hand also sweats a lot, and I will alternate gloves every 3 or 4 holes and they last quite a while, and maintain their baby skin soft feel.
  5. I stopped playing ‘woods’ and instead upgraded to newer equipment…. G410 plus 10.5 degree metal driver G425 max 14.5 degree 3 metal I hit them a lot further than those old wooden persimmon clubs…
  6. My Ping g425 iron order from May 11, 2021 (1 degree upright, 4-PW, AWT 2.0 stiff) is now in production. They were in limbo and I asked my fitter to call and find out what the status is. He said ping was out of the L6 grips and we changed to the tour velvet which they have in stock. This is the second time we changed grips to something they have in stock to help get the order out the door. I don’t care what grips come on them….
  7. My g425 iron order from May 11, 2021 has still not been shipped. I am hopeful that it will arrive this month and will be ‘perfect.’
  8. I came back to the game after a 20 year hiatus, and as such I am gaming Ping Eye2 + (2-SW) and Anser putter. Waiting for the Ping g425 irons and Glide wedges (ordered May 11th, 2021) I received my Ping Driver 410 plus 10.5* and g425 3-wood…all with stock graphite shaft-stiff. the G425 driver replaced a Ping Eye2 wooden driver with a aldilla hm-40 shaft at 2.8* flex.
  9. Evidently they can, as Ping still lists the 410 in their current product offerings.
  10. I was just informed that my g410 driver and g425 3-wood have been received by my ping fitter/golf teacher. I was told the end of June for wood, and August for driver. still waiting for my g425 irons and glide wedges. Was originally told 2nd week in July for those.

Having just returning to the game after nearly 20 years you discover that what you lack in ability is offset by information and experience. The insight and information that can be garnered by exact yardages and contour mapping would be invaluable. Imagine being able to shave even 1 stroke off of a hole because you knew the yardage or could visually see th
